Horror icon Lynn Lowry – known for her roles in David Cronenberg’s Shivers, George A. Romero’s The Crazies, and Paul Schrader’s Cat People – will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Shawna Shea Film Festival.
The 10th annual event takes place September 21-24 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Lowry will be in attendance to accept the award and show some of her work.
On September 23 at 5 pm, Lowry will screen three short films she’s appeared in – J.T. Seaton’s Divination, Seaton’s The Peripheral, and Jason Reed’s Ready For My Close Up – followed by a Q&a. At 7:30 pm, you can see her in Guns of Eden, an indie action film directed by Gregory Lamberson (Slime City).
