This is not just a series at some point of time u will feel that it's your story or you are part of it.

You will feel every characters so close and at some point of time they will resemble to the ones who you know very well.

Trust me being a software engineer working in Bangalore i used to accept my reality to not to be with family.

But since lockdown started and after 10 years i got chance to stay with my parent while working from home, i realised how Alone I was .

Family and that one friend like brother is what all you need in life....

This show fulfills its message to audience how to priorities and balance life.

Main character "Shekhar Dwiwedi" (real name Vishal Vashishtha) has done awesome natural acting , he was effortlessly able to show us every colour of emotions a guy faces in his bad days of life.

This reality check was much needed to us and society and moreover IT Culture and corporate industries.

Every job deserve work life balance... And also one shouldn't take family responsibilities for granted over work.

This is one of the best series i have seen.

The content is too much relatable.

All actors performed their jobs amazingly.

Nothing to complain about.

Ghar Waapsi follows the story of Shekhar, who loses his job in a big city (Bangalore) and becomes constrained to come back home (Indore) for a few weeks until he gets a new job. However, for the first time in a decade, he starts taking his family's responsibility and also decides to do something that might seem impossible to people who have been stuck in their corporate lives.

Ghar Waapsi is a show for everyone who works and lives in big cities outside of their hometown. The Disney+ Hotstar show revolves around Shekhar and his newfound love for his home. After losing his job, he comes back home to spend some peace and quiet time with his family until he gets a new job. The writers have taken a realistic approach in order to showcase the feelings of a person who has no courage to tell his middle-class family about his unemployment status.

Ghar Waapsi also explores the connection between siblings and how their relationship becomes long-distance as they grow apart after living far apart for a longer period of time and not keeping up with each other due to the busy corporate life, where getting sick leave gives a guilt trip. You forget to call your parents or siblings or even wish your best friend on his birthday, with whom you've cut multiple cakes since childhood. All these scenes get you if you are in the same situation.

The latest series feels like another instalment of Geetanjali Kulkarni and Jameel Khan's Gullak, which is known as the trendsetter in the world of family-entertainer shows. However, for me, the best part of Ghar Waapsi is that it has a more serious and real tone to it, while the latter focuses on humour and a little drama.

Atul Shrivastava and Vibha Chibber are expected to give powerful performances, and they beautifully portray the characters of a middle-aged couple with plenty of responsibilities yet calm and composed. Meanwhile, Vishal Vashishtha steals the show with his honest approach to his character, being the eldest son, who starts to understand his family more as well as begins to support them with little as well as big issues.

Though the makers have kept their realistic approach throughout the show, the end of Ghar Waapsi is not relatable to the majority of people, especially in India. As much as we would like to be back with our families and live a peaceful life, somehow it will make us feel the FOMO of not being out there competing with the world and keeping on meeting our targets to get the CTC to grow.

However, there might be a few people who would like to live like Shekhar, who justifies the title of the show, Ghar Waapsi, by actually going back to his home and leaving the fast-paced and calculative world behind.

The show talks about all the issues and feelings that a person goes through while living out of their house and has nailed it with their approach towards each and every scene and the characters of the show. 'Ghar Waapsi' is essentially another heartland story about a slice of life that depicts familial love and bonding to which everyone can easily relate. Overall, this six-part series doesn't really offer anything new, but it's an easy and light-hearted family drama to watch over the weekend.

I just enjoy every second of this series . I think like me everyone can relate this with their life . The way this series teach us is outstanding . Salute to the team who think like this and make a series . Please watch.

Its 100% Relatable while watching this series i am seeing myself in vishal.. No words super acting, Natural acting from Vishal. This type is series should be release in India.

Excellent plot with nicely execution. Well performed act not overacted or underrated.

You will lose yourself sometimes in Dwivedi ji family. After ending of series you must want a friend like Darshan.

The series have shown pin point corporate culture v/s family culture

After range of family stories like GULLAK ,PARIWAR ,SALT CITY, NIRMAL PATHAK this is another one to offer..families stories have common in all like fights ,emotions ,social drama,spoiled children etc but the point is how the makers executes it..this is a good example of a nice and simple family series..vishal and Atul have played really well specially vishal who carried the entire series well..the uniqueness of this series is the corporate culture v/s family culture..atulji played a good emotional and friendly role of a father

Emotions were not in line sometimes they were too stretched and the series got stucked at the jobless point..the climax was not justified in sense of broken love story rest it was easily predictable

Superb casting and it is close to my family now because my family loved its all ups n downs, we specifically got very emotional during his 'going back' scene while everyone in family were crying.

So much relatable from all aspects, marriage and society part, not only IT professionals life and middle class family-problems were presented properly.

Around 9pm, we started to just explore it and it kept us awake till we finished it.

Really Loved whole story, acting, direction, camera work, locations, dialogues, plots. We are fans now.

Initially, they have created a very real series that people can relate to very much. Besides, the storyline of this series is just amazing, and the acting is just amazing. All did a very good job.

As per corporate life series was good, you can relate every scene with your corporate life but not that easy to implement ways in real. Family part was not that good enough because still this is not our indian culture. Still brothers got angry when they show their sister with other boy especially younger sister in lover's park and I think this should not be promote on social platform as well. What are you showing that students should do all these bunk and all in their study time.

Honesty, Suruchi character was very over she always do misbehave with their elders/ parents and series showing its like parents needs to change their mind set regarding all this. Director is showing that girl is hiding her love bite before enter in home and live in, I think this is not proper indian culture and I hope never should be.

I mean this soo bloody amazing. So so relatable. The strory , the emotion, the acting everythings so perfect. The main actor is really really good. He should get more roles, up and up only from this series for him. A very genuine actor and really promising acting of everybody in this series. It's a must watch for everyone. It's way better than nowadays bollywood movie. Truly ott content is rocking.

Rating is good but less then 500 people have rated it. This series should reach to every working youth of india.
