Goofs

The "HALO" parachute jump is described as a "high-altitude-low-open" where the ripcord is pulled as close to the ground as possible, but the stock footage shows the chutes opening as soon as they exit the aircraft. Additionally, at high altitudes of HALO jumps the temperature outside the aircraft is well below freezing and oxygen masks are required because of low oxygen level. None of the jumpers had either thermal protection or oxygen supply.

When the Seal team gets to the rogue team's camp they state the abandoned truck shown in satellite surveillance photos is missing. The scientist tells the team it is not missing as he unearths 2 tires of the now buried, upside-down truck, citing the cause being a sandstorm. Yet a nearby skeleton of a rogue team member is not covered at all and the terrain in front of the cave is the same height as before the sandstorm. This implies the sandstorm was responsible for lifting the truck, digging out a deep hole, inverting the truck and burying it while affecting none of the surrounding area.

Seal team members Gomez and Richards are dispatched to investigate an area of ground disturbances. Richards is impaled by a giant scorpion's stinger and his body pulled underground. Gomez begins digging out dirt and stones where the body went down and, with the help of the others, uncovers a left boot. When Lt. Raiger pulls up on the boot it comes free along with a knee high portion of Richards' pants covered leg. After several minutes of Gomez running around crazily and shooting at the ground, the team moves on leaving the scientist behind to try and calm Gomez. While the latter two are alone, Richards' macerated body pops out of the ground and both full length pant legs are shown.

When the Seal team encounters the giant spider in the cave they fire their weapons at it with no effect. The scientist informs then that spiders have a hard exoskeleton and with the size of the spider the exoskeleton would be "a few feet thick." Since the spider's cephalothorax is less than three feet in diameter this would indicate a complete absence of space for internal organs. Also, even though no bullets could pierce the spider, the abdomen is easily cut open for the scientist to feel around on the inside.
