The longest running horror show in Los Angeles, "HKFT," was featured in Scary Monsters Magazine and Rue Morgue Magazine. It has "contaminated" the airwaves every week live since 1990. The show is Hosted by David Miranda as "The Nightshadow" and has aired over 1,000 episodes.
The Nightshadow was runner-up at the 'Los Angeles Golden Gloves 1990 Boxing Tournament' Heavyweight division.
HKFT has had a mixture of diverse Guests: Forest J. Ackerman 'Editor of Famous Monsters Magazine', California State Senator Hilda Solis, 'Paranormal Icon' Psychic Peter James, Gary Coleman 'Different Strokes', Director Joe Dante 'Gremlins/The Howling' to Maila Nurmi 'Thee Original Vampira'.
In 2018, David Miranda - "The Nightshadow" for "Horror Kung-Fu Theatre", was inducted into "The Official Horror Host Hall of Fame".
From late 2021, Tom Zarecki as "Count Cat" and Briana Roman as "Catpira" became the new hosts for the show.
