Production company Optomen are continuing their “Vs” series for Discovery+ with a doc about the “Sliding Doors” star’s legal woes. The civil trial earlier this year saw Paltrow sued by – and then counter-sue – retired optometrist Terry Sanders, after the duo collided on a Utah ski slope in 2016.

Sanders claimed his entanglement with the “Goop” founder caused him to suffer physical injuries and emotional distress while Paltrow, for her part, lost half a day of skiing.

The two-part doc will drop later this year.

Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland has revealed a raft of new and returning commissions, including Discovery+ shows Gwyneth vs Terry: The Ski Crash Trial and Peltz-Beckham vs The Wedding Planners.

Optomen, makers of Johnny vs Amber and Kim vs Kanye: The Divorce, are behind the two 2×30 series. The former will highlight the legal clash between Oscar winner Paltrow and retired optometrist Terry Sanderson, which led to an avalanche of press earlier this year. The second docuseries unpacks the different points of view of the Peltz-Beckhams and the wedding planners they fired weeks before the ceremony.

Meanwhile, ahead of the upcoming second season of 90 Day Fiancé UK, the studio has commissioned a 1×90 Tell All special to be hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan.

The premiere season of 90 Day Fiance UK came to a close yesterday, and viewers found out that Richard Porter was ghosted by his Filipina girlfriend, Kathleen.

Richard described that after he returned home from what he thought was a great bonding trip to the Philippines, Kathleen messaged him to say that she had fallen out of love with him.

With no further explanation provided, Richard met up with his friend and explained his heartache. He also revealed that he missed Kathleen every day during his private interview.

90 Day Fiance UK viewers are six episodes into the hit 90 Day spinoff from across the pond and have gotten to know enigmatic star Richard.

Richard is in a relationship with Philippines native Kathleen and intends on bringing her to the UK. However, Richard’s interpretation of the role he sees Kathleen fulfilling has been seen as sexist, misogynistic, and crass.

During the last few episodes, Richard has explained to his friends, ex-wife, and family that he wants Kathleen to fulfill a deeply domestic role that caters to all his needs. All of this while Kathleen holds down a full-time nursing job since they plan to get her to the UK on a work visa.

Kathleen and Richard experienced a setback in the immigration process when Kathleen failed the English portion of her immigration test.

During the latest episode of 90 Day Fiance UK, viewers learned the extreme lengths cast member Bridie was willing to go to to be with her Lebanese partner, Host.

Bridie explained that applying for a visa to get Host to England was expensive, and being that she was a single mother of two, she didn’t make enough money to cut it.

Given those circumstances, Bridie explained that she had equity in her home and that she was going to sell the house and use the money to pay for Host’s visa.

While Host questioned the impact it would have on Bridie and her daughter’s lives, he went along with the plan with Bridie explaining that she would do whatever necessary to get him to the UK.
