You might want to skip on this one...

When I stumbled upon the 2024 movie titled "Huntress", I have to say that the movie's cover made me stop and take notice of the movie. It was a movie that I had never heard about, and thus, I opted to give the movie a fair chance.

Let me just say that the movie's cover is the best part about the ordeal. And the movie's cover over-sells the movie by a landslide, especially since it has nothing to do with the contents of the storyline. So yeah, I was suckered in on false premises. Take heed, and don't get sucked in by the movie's cover, as the contents of the storyline is quite different; you'll be sorely disappointed.

The storyline in the movie, which I am surprised to see that a total of three writers collectively worked to conjure up, was rather bland and wasn't particularly entertaining. So it was impressive that writers Iris Blake, J. Christian Ingvordsen and James Felix McKenney could muster so little between them.

I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, which is something I actually do enjoy when I watch a movie. Despite having very little to work with, I will say that the acting performances were fair enough.

If you enjoy World War II movies, do yourself a favor and give "Huntress" a very wide berth. It just simply wasn't worth the 77 minutes that the movie ran for.

The movie scores a much needed point on its presentation, as it looked fair enough and passable as a World War II movie.

My rating of directors Matthew M. Howe and J. Christian Ingvordsen's 2024 movie lands on a very generous three out of ten stars.

Slow moving and doesn't deliver

Came across this on Amazon, sounded intetesting, but was a disappointment.

Set in WW2 Germany, 5 people set out for a field hospital as one has a bad leg. They encounter an odd girl and of course go to her house where bad things begin. Thats it.

A decent cast, most things are period looking, until they get to the house. Uniforms look period, however they are too new looking and too clean. The camera work is nice, sound mixing as well. There isnt much of a storyline and no plot. Bad writing make this movie stall, i kept waiting for something that never came.

I was very surprised at the total absence of creativity in this film. Everything is borrowed from other films, there is nothing original at all. A disfigured and mental girl with a vail and Even doing a Leather Face dance? This character was near comical.

Just another movie derailed by someone who thinks they can write. They borrowed everything else and couldnt even come up with something better. Wow, doesnt say much now does it.
