This short film was recommended on my Netflix feed. I thought I'd give it a go because it was only 16 mins. I'm so glad I did, it's a touching story that follows a seven year old girl who skips school to help her parents. You find out why it's caused closing dynasty at the end and cleverly so. Great acting for the main character at such a young age. I was teary toward the end and felt empathy toward the girl. I don't normally give reviews and I actually created an imdb account just so that I can review this short film. Goes to show how much I liked this short film. I really recommend it, and doesn't take long to watch.
It needed not more than 16 minutes. We all saw the world once like that as children. It's bold and that little girl has no agenda, it clearly portrays her view of life, and it contrasts that with adults view. No harm no foul here, just an endearing short film that reminds me of looking through a kaleidoscope where everything is a view unto their own.

As in that song (mo money, mo problems) ... but as always no pun intended. This short movie is about a young girl going around trying to hustle money. Not really in legal ways (to say the least) ... and maybe you do not feel too sympathetic to her "cause" (or whatever you would call it) .. that said she is quite charismatic ... and also sweet, even if that obviously is a bit ... well it may throw you off scent.
Is there a big discovery in this? A big revelation? This will depend on what you are able and willing to read into things. As with the diamond, what you may perceive as a fake, others may feel is really worth a lot ... or the other way around of course. The girl only wants to help ... but she may have taken a path that will not be easy to break through ...

This Closing Dynasty is an extremely short story; only 16 minutes long. That's what caught my attention in the first place, figured I might as well watch it. The description said that the little girl, who was out roaming the streets instead of going to school, would make a discovery that could change everything. I never saw anything like that so I must have missed something in the 16 minutes of this film. Unless they were referring to the glass fake gem she found in the garbage that was worthless? Well i don't get it other than seeing a sad story of a young girl beyond her years on the streets.
