My new guilty pleasure

I love the Singh's.

Bollywed is a reality show about the Singh family based in Canada that own an Indian predominantly bridal attire business, that of course stocks much more thanks to the very eccentric father.

It is a family run business with Mother and father, then daughter and son and his wife. The children are pushing for the shop to be taken further into the future, to be made more current, up to date.

Mum and Dad are old school.

Can the family compromise?

I am absolutely addicted to this series. The Singh family are so endearing. I want to go to the shop and meet them and spend money there.

The bridal wear is amazing. I really do hope that Bollywed goes past season 1. I am following the shop on TikTok now, that is how addicted I am to this show.

Bolly-yes

I really enjoy watching Bollywed. It's about the Singh family who owns a bridal store in Toronto. It's a reality show that introduces us to their family and shows us the incredible bridal sari's and lehenga's that are available at the store.

The series shows their expansion and gives us background on their family owning the shop. We watch as people come in for dress fittings and its so fun to see what they purchase and how they look on. It wasn't a world that I was super familiar with but I've come to enjoy the interactions with the family and learning more about the gowns and attire. I also follow them on Instagram for more great content.

Just a really good time

This family is wonderful. Watching their adventures these last five weeks has been a delight and an honour. Kuki is hysterical and so, so sweet and he and Sarab are such a lovely couple. I appreciate how they support each other and their children.

It feels like a special thing to get to see the fashion and the people that come through the store. I especially appreciate Chandan's ongoing commitment to inclusion of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and was ecstatic to see the show go out of it's way to showcase the diversity of the community Chandan Fashions serves.

If you're looking for a feel good show that doubles as a bit of an education about another culture this is 100% the show for you.

Sweet show

I wasn't expecting to like the show but as an Indian living in Toronto was curious as I have walked past the shop many times. But I was so pleasantly surprised. It is Such a lovely heartwarming show on family and family run business. Their ideas and evolution was so interesting and inspiring to watch. Collection of the bridal lehengas are so beautiful and fashionable keeping with the times. The way they handle clients is something to learn from, they each have their own approach and style in dealing with clients. They all are so genuine and it comes across so well throughout the show that I want to go and meet them. It was so exciting to see the transformations over two seasons.

A Happy Show

I didn't think I'd enjoy Bollywed as much as I did.

The family in the show seem very genuine and the storyline is unique. There isn't any of the negative, silly drama between characters that you usually see in some other reality shows.

The dresses are also very pretty, and you get to learn a bit about South Asian fashion. I wish they showed more of the client's stories like how they do in the show 'Say yes to the dress', but you do still get to see this aspect plus the family's business story.

If you enjoy positive shows with some humor, then this is a good show to watch. Excited to see season 2!

Absolutely delightful to watch!

Omg! How I love this new Bollywed reality show!!!

It's my new guilty pleasure lol Kuki is so so sweet along with his wife Sharab.

I love his kids especially the beautiful daughter n daughter in law.

I love the amazing fashion n how close the family is.

Each episode is so much fun to watch.

They are all so humble n down to earth.

Hope it continues for many seasons.

Best part is they get to go to the clients weddings.

I enjoy watching the wedding parties come into the store n showing their culture n sharing their stories.

Some share stories of loss of a parent n how they want to honor their loved ones on their special day.

I have been to their store multiple times in the past n it's exactly 💯 how it is in the series.

Thanks for a fun watch.

Feelgood hidden gem

This is such a feelgood, positive series with no drama BS, which is so refreshing.

Many reality show producers seem to believe audience wants drama (usually created and fake) to be interested, not the case here, thank you !

Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. I'm not from the culture and learned a lot about it while being entertained.

Recommended watch.

A beautiful family

So refreshing to see a lovely happy family who have so much love and respect for each other.

I binged watched all 3 seasons and felt part of the family.

We hope to see many more seasons guys.

The 2 daughter in laws relationship is so sweet.

I don't know much about Canada and the diaspora living there coming from the UK, however this gave me a great insight.

Kuki is such a sweet husband and father, the type every woman would want.

Chandan is a lovely son and husband,I love the way he wipes his dad's tears!

If I visited Canada,I would surely go to the store to check out their stunning suits.
