Filmed in England over a period of 21 days.
The film was intended to have a theatrical release in the summer of 2012, but instead it went straight to DVD in Denmark and the Netherlands in 2013. It was eventually released on DVD in the UK in 2017.
Writer/Director Brian A. Metcalf (Adverse, Living Among Us, The Lost Tree) has been quoted as saying Corey Feldman is the only living actor he must work with before he dies. Metcalf has called Feldman a national treasure, the "Brando of the 21st century."
Unfortunately some people who invested money in this production never saw a penny from the worldwide sales.
In the Japanese release of the film, "Kalfu" is changed to "Calw".
