It's Live PD!

Finally a network had enough guts to bring back a show that never should have been cancelled in the first place. On Patrol: Live duplicates the structure of Live PD - as well it should. I will be watching every week.

BTW - these aren't my pants. 🤣😂🤣

Just as awesome as Live PD

This is the replacement to Live PD and the only difference is the name change. It is still as good. Same host and same format. So glad it is back and can't wait for more!!!!!!!!

Legal Addiction

This is T. V. crack. I watched the first episode out of curiosity; I haven't missed one since. I anticipate every new episode on Friday night; I'm almost sad when the credits roll Saturday night. Why? Here are some observations:

1) I used to think people would say anything to NOT get arrested; now, I cannot believe how many people talk themselves INTO getting arrested, especially when the police are originally blatantly not even interested in them.

2) I cannot believe how many people try to escape from traffic stops. Which leads to -

3) At first, I couldn't figure out why all of the locales are small towns, and not huge cities. And then, I realized...folks love those 20-minute car chases. I love the 20-minute car chases. If these encounters happened in - let's say, even Cicero, Il....the chase would last for 5 seconds before the suspect plowed into someone. Living near Chicago, it's hard for me to even comprehend that there could be a pursuit on deserted streets for as long as these go on.

4) The people in Beech Grove, IN. Are wack. The Beech Grove Chamber of Commerce must be apoplectic.

5) Do criminals watch this show?? 9 months after this show premiered, there are still people that swear there are no drugs in their car, and 10 minutes later, the hood of their car is so full of drugs, the officers have to put it all on the roof, and then the trunk.

6) While I agree with other reviewers about the fact that sometimes the most interesting things happen 2 minutes before the show ends, what are you going to do, it's live! Logically, the later it gets, the more interesting criminal stuff happens. Honestly, I'd say either start the show an hour later, or make it 4 hours instead of 3. It's not like there's something vital coming on after, since it's a replay of the same episode that just ended. I can't get enough!

7) I have a weird observation. This has happened at least twice, once in New Mexico, and once in, I think, South Carolina. In both cases, there was a really beautiful, incredibly fit female officer that was on for many weeks in a row. Then, they both just disappeared. Why? The beauty in New Mexico has been gone for months; the lovely officer in S. C. has been gone for 3 weeks. They were both fantastic at their job; I'd hate to think that weirdo creeps either started harassing them on line or actually started inundating their city, driving recklessly, hoping to get "stopped and frisked" by said officer. Or maybe they're just on special assignment or something.

8) I love this show!! The whole concept of this being the "NFL Red Zone" of police work is sublime. Check it out.

MY FAVORITE SHOW IS BACK!!!

I have been waiting so long for this to finally come. I can't get enough of it. So glad to be watching new episodes!!! It's a real life drama show. Sit down and give it a shot. It'll make you laugh, feel sad about some people, angry at others, and it takes a good show to invoke these feelings. Dan and sticks do it again!

A MUST WATCH: Just like old times!

Live PD has been off air for over two years now but after watching the first episode of On Patrol: Live, it was like no time has passed at all! If you were a fan of Live PD, then you'll love OPL! It's just as fast paced, action packed, and entertaining. The commentary from Dan and Sticks are just as great as before, and as much as I miss Tom Morris, Jr., Curtis is an excellent addition. The format is very similar to Live PD, the segments are the same, and the great parts with community involvement bringing missing children home are amazing! If you want to see how policing works - live - then this show is an absolute must watch! #OPnation #OPlive.

Kept the formula

Good show, happy to see it has made it back on the air after getting "woke" to an early demise. Thankfully they kept the formula from the first incarnation (Live PD).....and that's a good thing. Highly entertaining, we cringe if the criminals run and get away...then cheer out loud when they get taken down. It definitely illustrates what an unpredictable and often dangerous job the officers have to do. I've read the reviews bad-mouthing the police for "going after minor offenses". They are comical. The same cop-hating / rule of law-hating individuals that I hope to see get tazed or dog-bit on a weekly basis!

Love the show

I loved live pd and I love on patrol. But what is with all the commercials. It used to be mostly action but now it is mostly commercials. I guess it has become like everything else and is all about the money. I really do enjoy watching them catch the bad guys. Dan Abrams is a very witty guy. I love the little phrases he comes up with. I drive thru Columbia South Carolina quite often and if it's on the weekends I am always looking for the action that we see on on patrol, no luck so far. I am a retired firefighter, so I have worked close with law enforcement most of my life. I have protected them from danger and they have protected me. I look forward to Friday and Saturday nights.

What happened with Kanawha County WV?

Very good and entertaining show, just disappointed that Kanawha County Sheriffs aren't on here like they were supposed to be. Seems to be the same places as Live PD. There are 8 departments and literally half of them are in 2 states, South Carolina and Florida. Hopefully it won't be a very long time before they mix it up.

Once it got going...

A bit of a technical issue at the beginning but once it got going it was almost as good as the original. Set was a bit sparser and the camera's seemed less quality than original but i am sure as the show regains its' rightful place it will upgrade and perhaps become even better.

What happened?

Interesting concept spoiled by over-sanitizing police work. It is good to see suspects being treated with respect by officers but too often leads to feel-good episodes - kitten rescue for 1/2 hour, really? Too much time spent following endless vehicle chases. Surely with 'more than 50 cameras' there must be something more interesting. My biggest peeve is when something interesting is happening we are left with no follow-up. I understand privacy concerns but a lack of any resolution or even update is very annoying (woman's body found on lake shore, Shooting at high school football game etc.) And surely "OP Nation" would like to know how previous week episodes were resolved. Particularly annoying is how virtually every show ends with what sounds like an interesting call coming in and we are left with an officer responding... with 30 seconds left.

11/26 edit. Annoying syrupy cops, still no promised follow-up on interesting events and way too many 'we'll be right back after commercial break' promises from Dan that never happen. Still running out of time just as probably the most interesting event (out of three hours) is about to unfold. One star away from giving up completely on this show.

Professional

This show should give the public a better understanding of how difficult it can be to deal with the public. I commend Sgt. Bryant from Daytona Beach who consistently demonstrates a down to earth, mature approach to his job. He stands out highly among the officers for his practices. Sadly, There are officers that goad and menace suspects and that's a shame. Got someone handcuffed and in custody? Why do you need to get in their faces and try to humiliate them further? Officers we need you. You're important. Don't demean yourselves to boost your own egos even if you believe the suspects deserve it. Stay safe. Thanks for all you do.

Needs more lively and comedic host

With the right host, this show becomes the Johnny Carson of the 2020s, with families and friends gathered around to watch the ups and downs of police work. It just is so milk toast. Needs a bit more humor and sarcasm, and wit. The guests need to be celebrity guests or something and literally you have a ratings MACHINE. And it would be a net good for our society to have harmony around something so simple - brave officers and catching bad guys. I think this show could be so so SO much more than it is. It's a genre that's never going away, and the people that master it will have our hearts for good.

Far from the Live P.D. Show!

I was a faithful watcher of Live P. D. but this On Patrol Live is TOTALLY different!!! The police feel like they have to prove, how sweet they are and they want to be your best friend. Oh you have 2 warrants, it's okay, we will give you a notification to be in court for those, you have a good night, lol.

I love animals but we are not watching an hour on rescue's of them. That should b another program.

They need to KEEP IT REAL & do your jobs! 5 police talk to homeless man for 30 mins, who could not converse in sensible sentences, no help to the man. Wasting time, while crime is happening everywhere!!!

Something is Very Wrong..

Yes, as the title says - Something is very wrong!

First off:

I just wanna say that I completely respect all of the officers on this show and I salute their bravery. What they do every night for a living is to be respected and they put their lives on the line for the good of society and that can only be admired.

That is my belief.

However:

Just watch this show for a few nights and you will see that the majority of the time, all the cops are doing is harrassing drug users and sending them to jail/prison.

You don't even have to have drugs, just something that may be used for drug use..

There is nothing to be admired or respected about this, and it shows just how wrong and backwards our society is in 2024.

Again, I don't blame the cops.. It's their job.

But:

It is human nature to want to feel good.

Drugs make you feel good.

What's more, if your life is terrible, you crave some form of escape(drugs) EVEN MORE.

To punish people for a wanting a form of escape is just so sad to watch.

It breaks my heart to see the majority of the poor people on this show be lectured, pushed around, and treated like they are actual low-lives and be sent to jail/prison when in the majority I'm sure they are mostly good people(95%).

Funny(not) thing is, the cops that arrest them will most likely go home and have a beer when they finish work..

In my opinion, the worst drug of them all - IS ALCOHOL.

I doubt the cops would even disagree with me here and they'd barely have anything to do without it..

Just wanted to state my opionion here, because while I think this show is a good watch and is also very informative of modern society, it is kinda depressing to watch.

Again, I respect the cops, but it really makes me sad to see where we're at in 2024.

Good show, poor laws in my opinion.

8/10.

Some cops need to lighten up!

Just watched an episode from Saturday November 5 of 2022 where a cop from Nye County NV seen a guy fall from his street bike. He turned around went back started talking to him. The guy wasn't saying much but some people do not like to speak much with cameras in their face. The only reason the bike came out from under him was because the bike was leaking oil going onto the back tire causing it to slide out from underneath him. He didn't make it but a couple feet out of the driveway. Cop I guess started to get pissed at him because he wasn't talking much and started a field sobriety test on him. From all the rest he gave him he passed but still took him to jail for DWI. Don't get me wrong I do love watching the show. Always wanted to be a cop myself but missed my chance. Anyways I just think moves like that are uncalled for. You are going to run into people that will not talk much especially when they're a camera crew with cameras in their face. All I'm saying no need in taking something like that personal and trying to come up with a way to cause that person more problems in their life's that don't deserve it. Go get some bad guys👍🏻. Keep up the good work and be safe!

Nice to see it back

I'm happy to see On Patrol is back on the air. This show follows police officers doing really incredible, sometimes funny and sometimes dangerous things. I love the analysis of the events by the people like Sean sticks Larson. The show moves on nicely and I never get bored except DUI pullovers. Once you've seen one DUI investigation you don't need to see any more. I wish they would not stop the video feed when something really nasty is happening. I can take whatever they're dealing with and would hope others would just divert their eyes if it was something they did not want to watch. I also like that Peacock has previous episodes.

I love the show but one officer is very patronizing

I'm a twice weekly On Patrol Live watcher. I love the show especially seeing the law be enforced in a "by the book" and respectful manner by officers of all types. Officers need to hold themselves to the highest standards of behavior, despite frequently not being treated that way.

There's one officer whose attitude consistently reflects badly on the show as a whole: Mike Bryant of Daytona Beach, FL. Officer Bryant's tone of voice and condescending, patronizing attitude are not just occasional. Although he was called out for it during the final episode of Season 2, I noticed it throughout the entire season. He finds himself to be very amusing and clever while subtly disrespecting the people he is questioning. Then he acts as though the other person is being unreasonable or confrontational for challenging his disrespectful, patronizing behavior.

That is old school police behavior in a BAD way. Mike Bryant is on a power trip like some of the officers on Cops used to be. I know OP Live wants to maintain a clear separation from the murky history of Cops and so far they're doing a great job, but Officer Bryant is not a good choice to help do that. So many other fine black officers on your show are upholding the highest standards of respectful behavior in arguably the hardest job in the world. Let's focus on them, not the egotist.

Love the show either way!

Bryce

Corporal Bryce Hughes needs plenty more training before she should be let out alone to have other fellow officers safety as her responsibilitiy. I would not want her to be mine or any of my loved ones "wingman" until she learns the job much more clearer. When it's time for the cameras to follow her, I typically use that time to use the restroom, get a snack, or pretty much anything other than watching her. Primarily to save myself from getting aggravated and begin asking, WHY?! That is not to say she couldn't be a decent officer in the future. However, she is no where close to that presently. I can't possibly be the only one that sees this accident waiting to happen.

Cast

I really Love the show! Always interesting with a variety of police force locations around the country. I do have my favorites, especially Arkansas and the Carolinas. Some of the crimes are just pure stupidity running rampant. Some are self-proclaimed experts of the law, and some have a total lack of common sense! I could really do without Dan Abrams trying to be witty and cute. Put him on permanent vacation or give him acting lessons! LOL! Seriously! I love watching the policemen having fun and helping people, as well. If we miss a weekend, we know we can pick it up the following weekend! Keep up the great work troops, and Thank you for your Service!

Best show on TV

This is the most entertaining show on TV, it shows the real live police action around the country... It is so interesting.. The interaction with the police and the victims/criminals is really great and why does everyone drive without a license ? This is just like Live PD but on a new and better network. Everyone who watches this show will know what a good cop is and a bad criminal looks like. Arkansas is one of the best police men. My favorite part is the interaction with the guys at the desk, they are funny and get us to the right locations when we need to.. In conclusion everyone should watch this show !!

The show is good.

I can't believe how some of these police offices act, this cop is arresting a women after screaming and yelling at her to shut up. With her three kids in the car telling her he was those kids. It ridiculous how some of these police offices act. He should have called someone to get them and write her a ticket instead of arresting her.

A few not alot of these cops are more criminal then who they arrest acting like idiots. I can't believe people judges the captain or who ever let's them behave this way.

The offices who are doing the right thing I take my hat off to you and I know you know who you are. The officers who feel judged or have problems with understanding what I'm saying are the ones I am taking about.

Better Review When I Can Actually WATCH "On Patrol"

I waited with baited breath for last night's "Premiere" of "On Patrol: Live! SO, what happened? A whole lot of empty screen! And not just a little bit at one time but quite frequently throughout the 3 hours. So I cannot give a review as yet since I was unable to watch it. I'm giving it another shot as I write this and hopefully what happened last night won't happen this afternoon. (This is just a reply of last night). I believe there's another new one later, but I don't give up easy! SO LET'S GIT 'ER DUN!

What's wrong here

What is up with that main announcer.? Constant repetition is offputting. He's not funny and should knock off the lame jokes. The inference that southern cops are soooo helpful is very misleading. Leaving some things that are ongoing that are interesting just to flip to some cop driving makes no sense. The other guy could stand to adjust his choice of clothing. The show itself is not too bad but the story I read about the original producers not liking how it's now being presented should be paid attention to by whomever it is thadts kinda messed it up. Simplest thing would be get rid of the on camera announcers. The show would be easier to watch without the lameness. Outrageous. Just watched a knucklehead cop driving on wrong side of road without lights/ siren almost hit a commercial vehicle making legal left turn make stupid comments about the truck driver. This show is rediculous.wow. Fla has jerk cops. It was totally wrong for them to take that Malibu especially considering what goes on there daily with the showoff drivers just getting ticket for same thing.

Show shows cops violating peoples rights

I don't understand how some of these cops aren't arrested or at least lose there jobs. They are constantly violating rights giving unlawful orders and the host Dan , Sticks and Curtis are always copsplaining when they know what they witness is illegal. Show should have a lawyer or at lest a para legal on to explain when a cops is wrong. Also arresting someone on resisting is a secondary charge and this show always locking up someone for resisting as primary charge. And cops want to know why citizens are scared of them when 8 plus cops show up for a traffic stop with guns pulled this is becoming a police state and this show proves it. They violate peoples 1st 4th and 5th amendments rights and the host always make excuses. Cops are not above the law. Last thing that bothers me is they always pulling people over for supposedly leaving a drug house well if they know it's a drug house stop the house and stop pulling over and arresting the addict but as most know it's easier for the police to go after a possession charge then actually do there job and arrest the dealer.
