Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice enters its third weekend in theaters today, and it has already become a bona fide box office blockbuster, taking in $270.5 million domestically and $720.8 million worldwide, from a $250 million budget. With that being said, it wasn't exactly a critical darling, with a Rotten Tomatoes score currently standing at 29%. However, even many of the haters found something to enjoy in the movie, with many praising Gal Gadot's work as Wonder Woman. The actress is currently filming her stand alone Wonder Woman movie in Italy, and in a recent interview with Digital Spy, she revealed that the movie will be quite dark, with a few moments of humor as well.
"In Batman v Superman, you get a glimpse of who she is but not where she comes from. In Wonder Woman, this would be the first time we ever tell the coming-of-age story of how Diana becomes Wonder Woman.

Why so serious? That seems to be a major complaint from critics who just saw "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" before its March 25 wide release. But, hey, at least they liked Wonder Woman!
The long-awaited showdown between Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman has not been embraced by many critics, so far. As of Wednesday morning (March 23) it has only a 40 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. However, only 62 reviews have been posted at this point, so there's time for a comeback.
Most of the reviews are mixed, whether labeled fresh or rotten. The length and somber tone were singled out in several critiques, as if every superhero movie now needs to be a non-stop one-liner comedy showcase like "Avengers," "Guardians of the Galaxy," and "Deadpool." You can find comparisons to Marvel movies in a few critiques, which seems a bit unfair -- we don't need DC to copy Marvel's formula,...

This article contains mild spoilers for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. We've kept these as vague as possible, but if you haven't seen the film yet, you might wish to skip the entry pertaining to that.
2015 was a particularly exemplary year for all kinds of movies, but particularly in genre and blockbuster cinema. When there's so much to talk about, it's inevitable that some of the really good stuff gets lost in the mix of awards season chatter, but that's especially true when there's still some residual stigma about movies outside of the 'worthy' release schedule that will arrive in UK cinemas between now and the Academy Awards ceremony in February.

The next 2015 blockbuster is upon us. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 marks the final installment in the adaptation of Suzanne Collins' novels and looks to become the first $100+ million opener since Minions back in July. Joining the pre-Thanksgiving fray is the Secret in Their Eyes remake and The Night Before starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen and Anthony Mackie. Meanwhile, Spectre hopes to maintain some kind of a foothold as audience competition heats up. Ending any kind of made up suspense, yes, Mockingjay 2 will become 2015's fifth $100+ million opener. Part 1 opened with $121.8 million last year and Part 2 should be in that same vicinity this year. The plus-minus, however, is up for debate. The first Hunger Games opened with $152.5 million back in 2012 and Catching Fire topped that by six million a year-and-a-half later and still holds the November opening weekend record with $158 million. Mockingjay - Part 1 was unable to match that,...

Twenty seven years, umpteen light years, several different realities and a curry monster later, and Red Dwarf is now officially the second longest running sci-fi series of all time (it'd be first if it weren't for that pesky Doctor).

You might know him best as oddball Angelos Epithemiou, but actor Dan Skinner has admitted he was keen to take a break from his alter-ego.
The 42-year-old comic told Digital Spy that he is working on a new Angelos live show - the first time he'll have played the character since 2013.

Skinner appeared as Angelos on the live circuit for seven years, before playing the character on BBC Two's anarchic quiz Shooting Stars from 2009 to 2011.

Jenna Fischer won a legion of fans for playing shy receptionist Pam Beesly in the Us Office for nine seasons. She will next be seen in another ensemble comedy, except this time it's mostly set in Slough, the home of the original version of the show that launched her career.
Sky 1's You, Me and the Apocalypse features a variety of seemingly unconnected characters as the world literally crumbles around them. Boasting one of the most eclectic casts in years, the UK-us show also stars Rob Lowe, Mathew Baynton, Megan Mullally and Pauline Quirke.
Fischer plays a mum who is sent to prison after taking the heat for her son's naughty computer hacking hobbies, and she has promised viewers that it will have a blockbuster feel to rival some of Hollywood's finest.
"I feel like I'm in a Tom Cruise movie or something," she told Digital Spy on the set of the show.

He's the smoothest boss around with the finest pair of driving gloves, but could we see Johnson's demise in Peep Show's final series?
Paterson Joseph has revealed that he has wanted his slick character to kill himself in the past, and writers Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong may still have a shock up their sleeves.
"We always talked about a Johnson suicide," he told Digital Spy. "And I want him to kill himself in the bath with a picture of Mark. That's how I'd like to end him.
"They've always talked about him dying but they didn't quite know how and we started talking about the suicide thing. They'll go with something much cleverer than that!"
Joseph will return as Johnson in the upcoming final series of the Channel 4 comedy alongside fellow stars David Mitchell and Robert Webb, with the cast tweeting several emotional photos from the final days on set.

James Corden and Mathew Baynton may have put an end to The Wrong Mans, but that might not be the last time they work together.
Baynton has revealed to Digital Spy and others that the pair have already written a movie together, but it has been put on the back burner while Corden remains busy in America as host of The Late Late Show.
"We wrote a film that he had been developing and then got me to co-write with him," he said. "But I don't know... I honestly don't know whether that's on permanent hold or what... But I'd really like that to get revived as and when he has time."
Baynton also explained that he wanted to write The Wrong Mans as a way of getting out of being typecast as a lead character's wacky pal.

1. CSI - Tuesday, 10pm on Channel 5
After 15 years and uncountable grisly murders in Las Vegas, the CSI team will say farewell in a feature-length movie. Rejoice as William Petersen is back as Gil Grissom, alongside a host of former faces to solve one last case.
It's not a complete end, as Ted Danson has moved sideways to spinoff show CSI: Cyber, but it should be a tough act to follow.
2. You, Me and the Apocalypse - Wednesday, 9pm on Sky1

The Horrible Histories team present the early life of the Bard in an entertaining, panto-ish romp
Related: Silly Billy: the Horrible Histories team take Shakespeare to the movies
From the people who brought you the Cbbc TV show Horrible Histories comes the latest iteration of the franchise. This feature is a very funny, if derivative panto-ish romp about the early life of Shakespeare. There are hints of the Carry Ons, Blackadder and especially Python, with one gag that must surely be a specific homage to Holy Grail. Shakespeare is played by Mathew Baynton with a soft-spoken intensity that Ben Whishaw might admire. This Bill originally played lead lute in a Stratford band called Mortal Coil; sacked for his self-indulgent solos, Bill was forced to take up literature. His meeting with Christopher Marlowe is not dissimilar from the way Tom Stoppard imagined it in Shakespeare in Love. Spy chief Sir Francis...

Back in March, Luther fans around the world rejoiced as production began on a new two-part special, slated to air on BBC and BBC America later this year. Earlier today, the official BBC America Twitter page revealed the first photo featuring Idris Elba as John Luther, who uses a man's sport coat against him. Apparently, anything you say, do, or wear can be used against you in the world of Luther.
Luther hasn't been on the air since the four-episode Season 3 ended in the summer of 2013. This new special will span two 60-minute episodes, following Idris Elba's Dci John Luther, who is pitted against his most chilling adversary yet. Haunted by the ghosts of his past and hell-bent on retribution, he's drawn into a terrifyingly complex case that pushes him closer to the edge than he's ever been.

When Luther returns for a new two-part special, he'll be without his faithful sidekick Justin Ripley for the first time.
Ripley was killed off in the BBC thriller's previous series - aired in 2013 - but Warren Brown, the actor who played him, has insisted he's happy to watch the new episodes as a fan.
"Luther's been a fantastic job for me," he told Digital Spy. "I've loved it from the beginning and made some great friends on it - Idris [Elba] and some of the other cast, and directors.
"Of course, I'd love to still be involved, but I was very happy leaving at that time and with such a great storyline that made such an impact, that Luther fans still talk about.
"Now I can watch this new series as a viewer, knowing nothing about it. I could've had access to the scripts, but I purposely wanted to watch it as a viewer.

For most, the shirtless stars of Magic Mike Xxl are the film's biggest attraction, but that hasn't stopped Australia from apparently censoring the film's poster.
Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez and Joe Manganiello have been given fairly unconvincing white t-shirts on one advert.
It isn't known how many of the posters have been altered, but it's safe to say some locals have been less than pleased with the change.
One Twitter user wrote: "Saw poster for Magic Mike Xxl today on which the cast had singlets photoshopped onto them. I really don't get the rationale there."
However, it has since been reported that the poster hasn't been fully censored, as they have been printed on special paper in Australia which means the t-shirts disappear at night when the background lighting turns on.

Jessica Wright is rumoured to be leaving the ITVBe show at the end of its current series, in order to launch her own TV career.
The 29-year-old reality TV star - who is currently being pursued by new arrival Peter Wicks on the show - is reportedly keen to follow in the footsteps of her brother, former Towie star Mark Wright.
A spokesperson for ITV told Digital Spy: "No decisions have been made on the casting beyond the current series."
It was recently confirmed that Gemma Collins is currently not filming on the series following an argument with co-star Vas J Morgan, and Jessica's ex-boyfriend Ricky Rayment is also on hiatus.
Mario Falcone has returned after his latest temporary suspension, but Dan Osborne has not been invited back on the show following his suspension.
The cast recently returned from their annual trip to Marbella.

Channel 4 has won much acclaim for its exploration of themes of technophobia in Black Mirror - and on Sunday night (June 14), the broadcaster returns to that topic, but on a much grander scale, in new 8-part series Humans.
A co-production with Us cable network AMC - home to The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and Mad Men - Humans is based on a European production called Real Humans, which has aired two acclaimed series in its native Sweden.
Relocated to suburban London, Humans will otherwise explore similar territory to the original - it's again set in a parallel present where uncanny humanoid robots, known as 'Synths', are as commonplace in the home as a mobile phone or an iPad.
"Overall, it's the same idea, we just tell the story in a different way," says producer Chris Fry. "Towards the middle of the series, it does change quite a lot [from the original] - with this subject matter,...
