A masterpiece

This movie is so realistic, a daughter from village come to city to find out her father. But she unfold the hidden truth about her father. Director captured the movie so magically. Light, background sound, frame, color, acting, camera movement, all are so natural.

Humanistic movie.

Through a humanistic lens, Lovely Man explores the impact of ambiguous loss and the haunting weight of regret on personal lives.

The film follows Cahaya, a teenage girl who seeks out her estranged father after he abandoned her in childhood. She encounters Ipuy, a cross-dressing sex worker who meets his long-lost daughter with cold detachment.

This film exemplifies cinematic humanism by examining human flaws with compassion and empathy. It highlights the experiences of the misrepresented and marginalized while finding common ground amid differing perspectives.

I appreciate how the film demonstrates that even when people seem worlds apart, there is always potential for connection. Cahaya, a devout Muslim, contrasts sharply with Ipuy, who is nonreligious. While Ipuy is blunt and unapologetic about his work, gender expression, and sexuality, Cahaya is gentle and patient. Their interactions reveal that understanding and commonality can bridge even the most significant differences.

Lovely Man

Good day guys, I thought I would give you an update on the current status of your email issue, after you have reported they are not able to send/receive emails, and are receiving errors on the mail transfer controller.

From the system we can see the vessel is running on its connection with a strong signal strength, and is not tracking in blockage.

The vessel is reporting an average amount of latency and 60% packet loss which could affect email send/receive.

We have asked the Network Team to investigate the issue from their side with the prospect of switching beams, which will eliminate potential issues from our side, before we login to the vessels PC via TV.

Once we receive word from the Network Team I will login to the team viewer session and recheck the email system.

Arguably Teddy Soeriaatmadja's best work

A man who seemingly only commits sins in his life is able to preserve his heart of gold. A girl who seemingly only does good in her life is able to make a mistake that contradicts her belief system. But that's humans.

We are born to walk on this earth by constantly making mistakes and learn from them. We live to make decisions that feel right for us, although it doesn't look right to society. Although each of us may be on the opposite spectrum from each other, but as human beings we will always have something in common: our humanity.
