When Miro's transsexual friend Noripee dies, Miro and his friends from the gay bar 'Eden' are once again reminded of the discrimination they are constantly facing from society. They decide to convince Noripee's parents, who disowned her, to bury Noripee's body.—Nippon Connection Film Festival

Miro (Yamamoto Kotaro) works as the manager-director of the Pub EDEN in Shinjuku Ni-Chome (the heart of the gay culture in Japan). Fellow employees and dancers are preparing a show for Miro's 42 birthday. However, Noreipii - a transsexual friend - dies in Miro's apartment the night before the show. Police begin an interrogation upon realizing Norepii's sexual circumstances. Although preparations for the party continue, each member of the group is faced with some predicament either helping fellow girlfriends who are being stocked or dealing with their own history. The story complicates even more as police return the body of Norepii to the pub for burial during the party and the group decides to bring her body to her relatives who had previously disowned her and live in the countryside. EDEN is a very low-budget film, but their story which is often recurrent among LGBT's is definitely worth watching. Use your imagination and mental computer-graphics to improve any flaws that may be distracting a few times. Unfortunately, there are no subtitles in English.—G in Tokyo
