I already read the other comments. I agreed with what they say. This series has flaw but it's not that bad that make you cannot watch it. To be honest, i really enjoyed this series. I think this story is easy to watch and it's very suitable for a young teens who like mystery story. It's not that heavy and it's also has a slightly comedy in every episode. I also think the actor who play in this series is very cute and adorable. It's just if they improve their acting skill a bit maybe the series will be very good. The production teams also need to improve cause in some scene the blood look too fake and the script where kindaichi suppose to expose the victim seem to unlogical. It's feel more like a theories and luck. But overall, i really like this series.

I hope this series has a season 2. Can't wait for all of your improvement.

I loved the manga and the anime so was super excited to watch this live adaptation but it was quite lacklustre. What made me cringe was the acting... it felt like I was watching a highschool production. Now, not all of the actors were terrible but Kindaichi in particular's acting was especially cringe and unconvincing.

The plot on the other hand was okay. The mystery element was still there which is a necessity but yea I really couldn't get over the stuff/awkward acting by many of the cast members.

Overall, highly disappointed but I do encourage people to watch it to make their own judgement. I might not like it as much as I would have liked to but it might be different for you.

Don't expect any good manga adaptation. Actors expressionless, blood looked so fake, the corpse or victims are horrible, doesn't looked like one, the conclusion of Kindaichi seems a bit odd and feels stupid. All cringey stuff was there. Not recommended at all. Don't bother watching this. Just reread the manga. Was any manga to live adaptation always this horrible? It was the same with alice in wonderland, cringe and stupid.

Many of their actions in the movie was not logic at all. And the kindaichi was not even in a pony tail. Those episodes in the movie are not close to a real one. Maybe they should learn from Hollywood.
