This movie is the lowest quality low budget so called horror? thriller i've ever been unfortunate enough to watch. It is painstakingly boring with terrible acting and even worse camera work. The director and casting agents are presumably racist as the majority main characters are white. The director could have at least tried to make a bad story line somewhat entertaining but alas he really did not try with anything at all. Watching early grave is like trying to listen to a two year old tell you their bad dream, it makes no sense. This movie is proof that we should leave movies to Hollywood and regular fol like Kevin DiBaccio should work real jobs.

EARLY GRAVE is an excellent no budget horror/ suspense thriller. It shows what a small group of determined filmmakers can accomplish in a short amount of time when they have drive, talent, and few resources other than a killer screenplay.

The story reminded me of Agatha Christie's .. AND THEN THERE WERE NONE. It centers around a small group of people who committed a terrible crime in their youth, and the guilt and shame that has burdened their lives and many cases, destroyed their dreams. Dealing with the long term effects of a brutal, violent act, the movie carries an underlying message about NOT committing such acts, even under the guise of a "prank" or a "practical joke".

The acting on the whole is excellent. It should be noted that some of the actors in this film have already gone on to earn their SAG-AFTRA cards from work on bigger films, Lifetime MOW's, and TV shows like LAW AND ORDER: SVU.

All in all, this movie is a definite "must see".
