The world is full of dangerous people. Some of them are psychopaths.
This is the only way to explain the low rating for such an incredible anime like The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse.
In fact, I could say that I've lost faith in MAL scores. Seriously, a 7?
Four Knights of the Apocalypse marks the return of The Seven Deadly Sins with a spin-off featuring new characters, new adventures, and an extraordinarily well-told plot.
Although (and this is why I don't give it a 10) the premise to start this story feels very forced (I won't talk about the premise to avoid spoilers), the reality is that the narrative and plot development are incredibly well done, exciting, and fun.
In the grand style of The Seven Deadly Sins, we find ourselves in an epic story on par with medieval tales of knights, battles, and beautiful princesses.
Honestly, I could write for hours praising this continuation of what is already considered a classic in anime history. I can only let the viewer enjoy this incredible continuation.
THE GOOD: An extraordinary story.
THE BAD: The beginning of the conflict is not very believable.
MY THEORY: Do we really know who the Four Knights of the Apocalypse are?

The animation is great! The villain is great, and i cant wait for more episodes. This show is defently worth watching because of the opening that has a 3d scene not made by cgi, this is the perfect remaking anime. But why people hate 4koa and there is 3/5 stars, 75% liked this show and disliking it, and no reviews at rotten tomatos. WHY!!!!!!!!!! What makes the anime so bad to people, is it because there is only 11 episodes that are dubbed in english at Netflix, that is fine for me, even if it is TV MA, it is still for 14 years old. This 4koa have to be more than 2 reviews on IMDB. It is one of the best anime.
Four Knights of the Apocalypse, while not reaching the heights of its predecessor, The Seven Deadly Sins, still manages to deliver a compelling story, particularly when it comes to character backgrounds. Each character's history is well-explored, adding depth to the narrative. The villain is exceptionally well-crafted and seamlessly ties into the overarching story, continuing the legacy of the original series.
What sets this anime apart is the emotional complexity of its antagonists. Many of the villains are highly sympathetic, with stories that are moving enough to bring tears to your eyes. This adds a layer of depth that is often missing in similar series, making the conflicts feel more genuine and heart-wrenching.
However, this show may not be for everyone. The main character can be frustratingly naïve or foolish at times, which could be a dealbreaker for viewers who prefer more competent protagonists. But if you can look past that, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse offers a richly detailed world and an emotionally resonant story that will appeal to many anime lovers.

Not as good as the original. Went into it excited but fully knowing it is set 16 years afterwards & the focus is on different characters.. alas it really isn't comparable. Currently on episode 8 of season 1 & all i can say is it is ok but that is about all. Everything seems... different. If it weren't for the original i'd probably not bother watching it. Who knows, perhaps it may pick up & i'll edit this review accordingly, but for now, fans of the original series will prob want to watch it - for everyone else - there's better out there.
Now for some random text due to the character count needed for reviews. ABC DEF GHI JKL MNO PQR STU VWX YZ.

I've seen everything until episode 12 of season 2 (at this point in time, that's all what's available). I've long held the opinion that the best seasons of Seven Deadly Sins are the first 2 and there was no follow-up movie which is as enjoyable as the first 2 seasons.
If you share my viewpoint that the Seven Deadly Sins started off great yet encountered some budgeting/animation issues from Season 4 onward, then boy do I have good news for you!
Four Knights of the Apocalypse is on par with Seasons 1 and 2 of the Seven Deadly Sins. That alone should be enough reason for old-school fans to watch the continuation, it's great fun!
