It was announced in January 2024 that the second season of the series would feature the Hallmark Channel's very first scene of a woman in her underwear. Hallmark has long had a "no nudity" rule for screenwriters, but producers decided to push the envelope a bit by showing 65-year old Andie MacDowell, who plays Del Landry, swimming in a lake in her bra and panties. MacDowell told Today (1952) that she didn't diet or anything to prepare for the scene. "I didn't worry about my body. It's like, at a certain point, you're so tired of having to think about those things."
