Summaries

  • Follows compulsive gambler Sergio who after receiving a tip-off returns to the betting house trying to recover all the money he has lost , but another gambler bursts into the place with a gun and a gunshot will change his life forever.
  • When Sergio (Luis Tosar), a compulsive gambler, learns that his wife (Luisa Mayol) wants to leave him, he vows to give up gambling. However, he receives a surefire tip and, while out with the children, makes a stop at the betting shop. When the mother finds out and goes to pick up the children, two armed masked men storm the betting shop. At the same time, police officer and sniper Pablo (Álex García) is driving his son Roi (Derek León) to the hospital. Roi is seriously ill, and only a new heart can save him. At his son's bedside, Pablo receives a call from his boss Costa (Elena Anaya): he is needed at the betting shop incident. There, the planned robbery gets out of control. People are killed. A police negotiator tries to talk to the surviving perpetrator (Arón Piper). Pablo could take the perpetrator out of action, but things go wrong. When special forces storm the betting shop, the perpetrator is shot and killed. But first, a bullet is fired from his gun and hits Sergio's son Dani (Ethan Álvarez), who dies shortly afterwards in hospital. Dani's mother agrees to donate his organs. His father Sergio, however, is consumed by thoughts of revenge against his son's killer. For Pablo's son Roi, Dani's death means that a donor heart is now available. But for that to happen, Sergio must sign the organ donation papers. Sergio agrees - but only on the condition that Pablo kills his son's murderer. Pablo reluctantly agrees. Watching Sergio, he tries to shoot through a window. But Pablo cannot bring himself to do it. Desperate, Sergio takes the gun from him. But the seriously injured perpetrator is being taken away. Sergio gives chase and finally stands with his gun drawn in front of his son's murderer.—ZDF
