Baked with a Kiss

Descriptions of this movie miss the mark and don't relate to the storyline developments accurately - it's all very down to earth and everyday. This is more of a feel good film than a rom-com - there isn't much humour and lots of relationships are covered eg family, friends, work, community etc. Best of all, this is a calm movie, no loud/distracting music and the ubiquitous cookery lesson montage is thankfully missing. Having recently watched 'Love on Retreat' (aka 'Lean into Love') with the same two leading actors, I'm glad the very versatile Jonathan Stoddard has a different character and look here, as Ansley Gordon's is quite similar, which could have been confusing.
