As of today, Lucky Spencer is getting a temporary new look on General Hospital. Fan-favorite Jonathan Jackson is stepping away for a few episodes, making room for Days of our Lives alum Guy Wilson to step into the role. While temporary recasts can be jarring for loyal viewers, fans can rest assured that Jackson’s absence will be short-lived.
A Temporary Shake Up
Don’t fret, Jackson fans! Soap Opera Digest reports that this switch-up is only for a handful of episodes, and Jackson will be back in Port Charles before you know it. In fact, a spokesperson for the show confirmed that Jonathan is already back on set filming, and we can expect to see him return to our screens later this month.

One thing Chrishell Stause will do is keep busy between filming Selling Sunset. The last season showed her focused on her relationship with G Flip, and at the reunion, she said she's open to having kids one day. But it doesn't seem like the real estate agent is rushing to have a baby. The couple got married in Las Vegas and Emma Hernan acted as their officiant. Chrishell got her start acting by playing Amanda Dillon on All My Children. She left the role in 2011 and later was on Youthful Daze and The Young and the Restless. Her acting career is nowhere near done just because she's on reality TV. She has a new role, and she wore a fake pregnant belly for it.

Not all soap operas confine their drama to the small screen. “Everybody Loves Raymond” star Madylin Sweeten has filed a lawsuit against Bryan James, the creator of Internet soap opera “Youthful Daze,” claiming that he duped her into investing tens of thousands of dollars in the show with promises that he never intended to keep. In the suit, Sweeten — who played daughter Ally on the CBS sitcom — claims that James approached her in August to act in the next season of the series and, shortly after, asked her to invest in it. Prior to the opening night showing of Insidious 3, audiences were shown the trailer for The Gallows. Needless to say, the packed theater (and me) freaked out. It would have been laughable if it hadn’t been so scary.
Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy—but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone.
Producer Jason Blum and directors Chris Lofing & Travis Cluff recently sat down to discuss New Line Cinema’s upcoming horror film.
