Adam Dimarco didn’t even know what a fraternity was when he stepped onto his university’s campus in Ontario. Now he’s captivating audiences as a caricature of the leader of a secret society brotherhood in Prime Video’s “Overcompensating.”

“The White Lotus” alum stars as Peter, the toxic, hyper-masculine boyfriend to Grace (Mary Beth Barone) and leader of the school’s most elite secret society Flesh & Gold. Dimarco told TheWrap the key to unlocking his inner douchebag but still making him lovable was in the series’ title.

“Every character in this show is overcompensating in their own way, so just figuring out what Peter was overcompensating about: Not coming from a wealthy family or feeling like he has to also be more ‘masculine’ to fit in,” Dimarco said.

Benito Skinner’s semi-biographical college comedy “Overcompensating” is the social media star‘s first long-form project.

His Prime Video series introduces several new faces to the comedy landscape alongside a stacked list of guest stars. Skinner’s podcasting partner, Mary Beth Barone, stars as his sister in the series, while Wally Baram makes her acting debut as Benny’s freshman-year friend.

“Overcompensating” also includes Connie Britton and Kyle MacLachlan as Benny’s parents, and guest stars Kaia Gerber, Owen Thiele and Charli Xcx. Additional guest stars include Lukas Gage, Megan Fox, James Van Der Beek, Bowen Yang, Matt Rogers, Didi Conn, Rachel Matthews, Danielle Perez, Boman Martinez Reid and Yasmine Sahid.

Nothing brings out early 2000s nostalgia quite like Disney Channel's original movies. With cheesy one-liners, questionable fashion choices, and a usually solid message for younger viewers, the network's original films are a staple for a particular generation.

Lucas Till (X-Men: First Class), Jason Momoa ("Game of Thrones") and Merritt Patterson (Disney Channel's "Radio Rebel") will star in the werewolf-thriller Wolves. The story follows an 18-year old orphan who tracks down his ancestry to a small, isolated town. Momoa plays the town bad guy. David Hayter, who wrote X-Men and X2, will make his feature film directing debut from his own script.

Conan the Barbarian and Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa and Merritt Patterson (The Hole) are joining Lucas Till in werewolf thriller Wolves.

This time Momoa is on a bit of a villainous streak as he’s going to be the baddie in the directorial debut of X-Men writer David Hayte.

More precisely, Momoa will be the badass werewolf patriarch of the town.

Hayter is helming from his own script the film set to shoot in Toronto this fall; his goal is to start an original franchise.

Till plays a werewolf named Caleb who, accused of murdering his parents, goes on the run and winds up in a strange town called Lupine Ridge to discover that he’s not the only supernatural thing out in the world, while Patterson, who starred in the Disney Channel original movie Radio Rebel, will play a character named Angelina Timmins.

Disney Channel starlet Debby Ryan is once again venturing beyond the walls of Jessie-the-nanny’s tony apartment building, to travel to The Glades.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the 19-year-old actress/recording artist will guest-star in the July 22 episode of the A&E series, playing an employee at a luxury medical spa where one of the co-owners turns up dead.

This is not the first time that Ryan, whose TV credits also include The Suite Life on Deck and several Disney Channel flicks (such as Radio Rebel), has gotten dramatic.

You can’t really expect much from Disney made-for-tv movies, especially those following in the tradition of the well-cast, poorly written but beloved Disney channel comedies that an entire generation of kids grew up on at the height of High School Musical popularity. That style of show has stayed alive on the Disney Channel ever since thanks in large part to it functioning as a pop star factory that has given the world such talents as Hilary Duff, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus. If Radio Rebel has its way, Debby Ryan (who is the spitting image of Gomez) is the next in line as it cashes in on a story a bit too close to that of Hannah Montana for comfort with a dose of youth activism to give some spice (aka do what it can to differentiate itself).

In the upcoming Disney Channel film, Ryan stars as Tara Adams, an introverted teen who's painfully shy in school and a popular (yet anonymous) podcast host at night. As her show's reputation grows, it becomes increasingly difficult for Tara to lead two lives as the students are determined to find the host's identity.
