Pro Wrestler

This film is pure rubbish about pseudo-athletes who are pure rubbish. The world they know is so small that they can create whatever story they want to believe about society rejecting them when they themselves have alienated themselves. They believe the world is spiting them by not recognizing their self-declared "talent" for wrestling. The truth is they have very little ability or intelligence for any activity - sport or otherwise. Hiding behind the difficulty of becoming a real "pro wrestler" is their preferred means of denial. It's not that they haven't gotten their shot or that they have been unlucky. They are rubbish, plain and simple. They are not heroes, they are the villains and the lepers because they have chosen to be. The director should read more and explore the world outside of his redneck microcosm before attempting to tell a "deep" story.
