I don't normally write reviews, but I had to for this one. I was actually looking forward to this film. It looked interesting and had potential. Then I watched it. I've seen porn films with better dialogue and acting. Nothing in this movie made sense or went together. It would've been better if my 10 year old daughter wrote and directed it. At least it was only one hour.

I presume the title was lifted from the Prince song. If it was, Prince's estate should sue the producers of this piece of crap. Incredibly empty, dull and pointless.

This is a fantastic student film. I'm looking forward to the director's future professional work.

Like most student films, this work seems to showcase specific techniques that are of interest to the student director, but for which no larger context or conceptual direction is evident.

It's interesting how the director has taken remarkable pains to keep this film (barely) at a PG-13 rating level, even though the content is more suggestive of an R movie.

Even though it might not have full frontal nudity, this isn't exactly the sort of movie you would screen at a junior high school assembly or for a church group. The near-nudity that is nearly always presented in a sexual context is close enough.

Unfortunately, although the individual vignettes that comprise the film are well-done for a student work, they never quite gel together into the artistic whole expected from a more experienced professional. The potential is there, however, for the director to create something remarkable in the future.

Bad script, acting, filming, etc. The cast must have voted with high ratings on this movie. I watched 10 minutes to see if it would improve to 8.6, it did not. I've seen worse movies and gave it a 2.

Writing... elementary. Acting... forced and overdone Cinematography... amateur

Overall... if this is the movie aliens first see when they arrive. We are all doomed.

Waste your time with this movie at your own risk. This movie is complete trash. cynvanity's review is just one meant to mislead us into wasting our time to watching it. I tried to keep an open mind but still couldn't make out whether a bunch of toddlers were behind the production team or what.

R prudish women who watch Lifetime or Hallmark because they want sex without the "icky" nudity because it body shames them. The director is obviously one of those delusional people who think people can have sex without being naked.

Not sure if he's ever had sex, but the nudity is a major part of it. And to anyone who says "If you want naked people, just go watch porn," if you're watching this, you're watching porn made for people with phobias about nudity, one of THE most natural things in the world. Why waste your time? Go watch porn or a gazzillion other R-rated sex fantasies with actual nudity.

Oh Darling Nikki! A fairytale life turned upside down. Decent acting and a good enough script which will entertain you. Critics on here have never made a film before and have no idea what it takes to make one like this. Respect to everybody who made this, you got the true supporters here.

The film did seem a little rushed. The script and the acting was there but I think the editing let them down a bit. Certain parts looked a little rushed and some parts looked like it dragged out to much. Still watchable but hopefully they can make a part two

Didn't know what to expect judging by these reviews but still watched it and I thought it was great. Nicole D'Angelo and James Duval both did excellent jobs in their role and writing the actual story. Looking forward to more from Nicole D'Angelo this year.

Loved it! Nicole D'Angelo did a great job in this film. It has a sexy, stylistic approach with a neat storyline about love and fantasy. Watch if an open mind.

I liked the comparison between fantasy world and real life made it a lot better but again if they re-edited it without the extra parts more people would appreciate it.

Why is this film rated so low? It's at least a 7. Beautiful women, good plot and again did I mention beautiful women? Darling Nikki is a good film! Don't let the hate get to you and watch this. Really entertaining.

The film is about a woman who juggles men in her quest and mission to find her ultimate love. Things get mixed up for her when she can no longer differentiate between real life and fantasy. I thought it was cleverly done and for a indie it's an excellent production.

A good movie to watch when stuck at home. Acting wasn't over the top though I wish some scenes were cut a little shorter but really I did enjoy it. Watch this!

Um it was still good. Rating should at least be a 7... hot females and a good script.

The trailer caught my attention and it's a pretty interesting storyline. A carefree loving girl gets caught between real and fantasy world. Suspenseful and entertaining!

Perfect flick to watch on a weekend. Has a bit of everything from humor, good diloague and plenty of surprises. Ignore the haters and watch it
