Actress Linda Lavin, who portrayed Phyllis Adelman (aka Mrs. Bojangles), died from complications of lung cancer in Los Angeles on December 29, 2024 at age 87, just two weeks after this series was released.
Ray Romano (Paul Morgan) and Denis Leary (Mikey Morgan) previously worked together voicing their characters in "Ice Age" (2002); Romano voiced Manny the mammoth, and Leary voiced Diego the saber-toothed tiger.
Denis Leary had joined the show as he wanted to work with Lisa Kudrow and Linda Cardellini; it was not until he got casted when he learned he was working with Ray Romano.
