I enjoy the show as you get to see places that you wouldn't really go to when in Scotland. Ryan is good and does bring out new tech that I have not seen on the more bigger shows oing which his tech seems to be cheaper also so affordable. Chris I have seen on many shows before and he does help other investigators on bigger shows and he is always spot on with what he says and what the evidence that show might find even without Chris being with them anymore. Gail is no good because she hears a mouse fart and she wants to get out of there straight away and goes on and on until they all leave which spoils the show in my opinion. She always comes out with I've got a headache or something like that all of the time or I don't like that and wants to get out again. If she's that scared then why would you do a show like this that you can't handle which is a shame because I like Gail usually.
She claims to have a passion for the paranormal and unexplained and is a "main" cast for the show yet every slight thing that happens she wants to leave. Every noise or response she asks " what's that?" Like they don't know either they're figuring it out. She talks over everyone when they're trying to figure out a reading or some activity with irrelevant responses. I find her really unbearable to watch. Aside from that, I love the rest of the cast. They aren't afraid (even though it's normal to get spooked if you're signing up to do this then do it and stop ruining it for everyone else), and they're a lot of fun to watch. 5/10 because Gail ruins the fun for me. Chris is a bit dramatic as well, I've seen him on multiple shows.
Spooked: Scotland boasts a series of fine stately buildings, ruined castles, and splendid scenery, but it offers little not already seen since Most Haunted popularised the night vision cameras/medium lark way back when. In terms of approach and tone, the supernatural is invariably the go to in terms of any encounter or mystery, from a mud stain on a stair decreed by the American spiritual consultant as evidence that an imp is on the loose to a window that has a coterie of flies on it judged definitive proof that evil absolute is abroad in the castle. If Rod Steiger had been present in priestly garb, I would accept it, but sans Rod, I remain a sceptic. If you like paranormal investigation shows, then there is probably no reason not to like this show, but I grow weary of them and unless the spectre of William Wallace shows up and cries "Freedom!" through the revenant radio, I am ghosting Spooked: Scotland.
What is the point of Gail being in this programme. She is annoying as hell. Every single episode she is crying and wanting to go so why be there is the first place! Chris is so dramatic it's laughable. Without these two the programme would improve.
My biggest problem is with Gail Porter, you would think she is a total rookie investigator. When you go to a haunted location you can expect spirit activity. She jumps and yells and seems to have a panic attack over every noise and RUNS OUT Ryan the tech guy is much calmer than her. Chris Fleming if you know him and his work, those are just his methods and he goes where he is pulled and when. Nothing fake about Ryan,Chris or the dear Doctor. Gail needs to be replaced, its kinda like Zak Bagans and OMG everytime he sees a shadow, loud noise and jumps behind Aaron. Otherwise I enjoy the show. It makes me wonder if she was always like this and if yes, how she managed to get on a TV show as a paranormal investigator. She would go running out of my house in 5 min. Remember spirits feed on fear and she has enough for all other cast members and camera crew. Not all mediums work alike remember that when you criticize Chris Fleming. Gail should be at home watching the show NOT IN IT.

- TriviaAhead of the broadcast of the tenth and final episode of the first series presenter Gail Porter tweeted the news that she will not be involved with a second series if one is commissioned. She explained that the production company Tern Television, who have offices in Scotland and Northern Ireland, have pitched the idea of a second series being shot at haunted locations in Ireland and would likely have an Irish presenter. Chris Fleming is pencilled in to feature in a potential second series but it is unclear if Ryan O'Neill and Evelyn Hollow would be part of the series or if they too would be replaced by Irish experts.
