After Panchayat this web series also has same flavor about Indian Village culture, Thinking of village people. But this web series has a very good message which we haven't seen in Panchayat . Must Watch with family.

When I started this show I didn't think that it would end like this. It's such a show that can make you laugh for a moment, also can make you emotional in the next moment. And with every episode, it was getting too much emotional. It has a flavour like Panchayat and Swades.

It touched so many social issues very nicely. Acting of all were good, I liked Alka Amin as the mother most. As the faces are not much popular I think not many are talking about this. It has only 5 episodes, I'll say you should not miss this series, it deserves so much appreciations.

Series is about a young 24 year old boy returning to his village after many years with a secret. There he gets lots of love but slowly he realizes the evils of society existing there. Once he opposes, he is outcasted. But series stays firm on its ground, has an authentic plot and a very good cast.

I feel 5 episodes are less, it shudve got more. Lead actor is good, I liked him in hunter also. He is great here infact. Overall a good series.

Bollywood is little bit safe just because of some finger counting real pure and desi web series ,this is one of them .. I have never ever seen after gullak panchayat ...this is more than mind blowing ........i don't have enough words to say...If now a days you are looking for some real content and acting and story with some reality then i am just requesting watch this web series .....it's amazing.............................

Nirmal pathak ki ghar wapsi is a drama family show directed by satish nair and rahul pandey. These are the positives and negatives.

Performances:-vaibhav tatwawadi has played an emotional and grounded character with elegance. Akash makhija's transformation from a loving younger brother to a ferocious man is deadly. He was brilliant. Alka amin as santoshi maa is superb. She has played it beautifully. Pankaj jha as chacha and vineet kumar singh as the politician are regular veterans. They dont miss a single beat. As a whole, the performances from the cast are brilliant.

Cinematography:-The village atmosphere was built up pleasantly. The fields and farms were captured beautifully. The mud roads, the uneven paths are a character of the villages.

Music and background score:-the songs are melodious and soothing. 'Mann ki machariya' which also happens to be the intro theme in tune is brilliantly sung with all so beautiful lyrics. The background score is used brilliantly in the emotional sequences. Mainly worked with the atmosoheric sounds.

Social and cultural themes:-the issue of untouchability and caste divide is touched upon brilliantly. Not in a preachy way but with organic sequences. Its such a devil to our society that we before recognizing humans as humans start suppressing them and making them inferior. Marriage nowadays is just a tool to bring housemaids into their house. Their is no love actually. Gender inequality between men and women is brilliantly portrayed. Women do not have a voice of their own in some places of the country. This is a fact. Our society is so ignorant of male touch. A father is seldom seen hugging his son. They do not speak their minds. They do not cry together. Why so? Brilliantly touched upon in this series.

Dialgoues:-absolute peach of dialogues. The relationship of father and son is just like a bus driver and conductor. Such organic and heartfelt dialogues. Brilliantly written!

This is an absolute gem of a show. Watch it for sure. I rate it 10 out of 20.

I loved it. Narration is so good and skills shown by whole caste is just mind-blowing and Appreciable.

I you will connected in whole series. Lets hope to see the next season will agerly waiting.

This is my favorite series of all time. It is simply beautiful, incredibly well written and cast and flawlessly acted. It is stunningly gorgeous and heartbreaking with some very cute, fun, and funny moments along the way. But definitely it is the saddest movie imaginable and it was perfectly presented. I loved every second of it.

Congratulations to Director, writer, Casting team, actors & all people who are involved in making this series.

Jab aapke khilaf log bolne lage in, toh samjh lijiye aap sahi Disha mein hain.

Today also we can see these issues in our society. I can totally relate it to my village. You guys have nailed it. Actors are well directed & helped for delivering those beautiful dialogue with accent. Mr. Rahul Pandey we are waiting for next part. Please take your time and make it as soon as possible. Adbhut - Behtareen all the best.

The only bad thing is that bihar isn't the same place now ,but yes it is a good movie with awesome cast and strong screenplay , the mother's character was built strong and also opposition is quite good .

If you are from village India then you should watch the series and if don't then absolutely go for binge. The power of village India can be seen in the absolute Marvel series.🙏🙏

Nicely written and more importantly very well screenplay must watch.from the village side looks plus some on off comedy brilliant. Nirmals character could be slightly better but not bad at all.

All episodes are taken with high precision and shows good old days, love, village and relations in original. But the conclusion felt unnecessary or not good. Watching and feeling good vibe from all episodes went into vein after seeing last episode end.

A story written by someone who must have visited Bihar in 60s or 80s.

Nothing represent true essence of the cultur.

Bad storytelling but some actors have performed extraordinary work..

SonyLIV is one platform which never disappoints and 'Nirmal Pathak ki Ghar Wapsi' is yet another delightful & truthful series which everyone will love to watch. If you loved 'Panchayat' this will surely have a special piece in your heart.

A story of young boy coming to his village after 24 years with a secret. How he gets love from that village & how he slowly realises the evils of society existing and how he decides to fight it rather than run from it forms the basic storyline of the series. A 5 episode series is just beautifully crafted and nicely acted by the cast Vaibhav Tatwawadi who plays the titular role with ease along with Alka Amin who plays his mother waiting for her husband to come back. Both have acted brillaintly and effortlessly.

A series which is unmissable due to the strong screenplay and the message it provides. Awaiting for Season 2 now..!!

The writing is very good and direction is on par. The icing on the cake is the cast . The only thing that someone may not like are the irrelevant songs in few episodes.

Overall a binge watch for sure. Panchayat has a contender here.

My roots are also from ballia, but it's been 30 + years we never went back. I always aspire to visit my village , but parents are always afraid sending us to our village , because of this caste discrimination only.

This series should be a text book reference for Bollywood on how to create real characters, writing and dialogues. The dialect was spot on. Bollywood needs to learn that local langauge is more than replacing few words in a sentence like in Laal Singh Chadha's cringe worthy punjabi ! Eagerly awaiting for season 2.

PS : Aakash Makhija is a star in the making.

The series so heart warming and emotional at the same time. Would definitely recommend it. I just don't have enough words for this series.......................................

I must say they have portrayed rural Bihar pretty well here but I think the story writer went back to 80s or 90s era. I don't think the issue they have shown here is still present there in Current Bihar. But anyway let's come to the Series review, well it's basically a 5 episode based short season but you're gonna like it because of it's gripping storyline and emotional characters. I really liked Aatish's character more than our protagonist of this series. He acted damn purely. His dialogue delivery, actions, emotionally connection with big brother was truly heartwarming.

I'm gonna definitely wait for it's season 2 and I hope it's gonna release soon, because they have ended it on a mediocre position.

Overall a good emotional experience with the story, you can watch it with family just mild Bihari languages are there but they can be digestible. So 7 out of 10 Stars from my side.

This is one of its kind web series! Hats off to the director and writer for weaving up the fine details of rural setup, and portraying it so beautifully.

All actors were superb, but Alka Amin and Akash Makhija deserve a thunderous applause. Both were absolutely perfect in keeping the dialect intact throughout.

Brilliant is just an understatement for this web series.

Though there was jo relation between what nirmal was doing still the plot made an attempt to portray that communists are real social workers and the right wing is still conservative. If there was no such attempt the script have been a good one to watch.

You must watch this series if you liked Panchayat and Gullak. It shows pure grounded content with a powerful message. Acting of all casts are top notch.

What a brilliant piece , acting awesome, writing awesome , dialogues awesome, direction awesome . I don't think there is any segment where this web series is lacking .
