Prime Video has unveiled a 69-title 2024 slate of new and returning series and original and licensed films. The slate was revealed at a star-studded event in Mumbai on Tuesday hosted by Indian media personality Karan Johar.

The makers of “Ae Watan Mere Watan” unveiled a new song titled “Julia.” The two-minute and eighteen-second video features Sara Ali Khan as freedom fighter Usha Mehta and Abhay Verma, attempting to peep into a couple’s house before being invited in for a ballroom dance. The retro-themed track sees Sara and Abhay exchanging loving glances as they groove to the beats.

The video transitions to scenes of Sara and Abhay strolling through bustling streets, revealing their budding love story. Emraan Hashmi makes a brief appearance in traditional attire. Later, the couple is depicted dancing passionately at a party, and glimpses of Sara’s character with her secret radio set-up are shown towards the end.

Ae Watan Mere Watan film is inspired by real events and chronicles a pivotal chapter from India’s quest for Independence, in which a 22-year-old woman named Usha (essayed by Sara Ali Khan) played a key role.

Actress Sara Ali Khan, who has two films waiting for their releases ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ and ‘Murder Mubarak’, suffered a minor burn injury on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Sara Ali Khan has finally arrived in Bollywood. The actress who has been criticized for her movie choices and her acting skills might turn the tables with her upcoming film. Ae Watan Mere Watan will be released on March 21 on Amazon Prime Video. This period drama, produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, is a promising, hard-hitting tale directed by Kannan Iyer.

The historical period drama is bringing the tale of another unsung hero who needs to be celebrated. It is Usha Mehta who started the first radio station that turned into the voice of India during the Freedom movement.

The film, which stars Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O’Nell & Anand Tiwari, has offered a powerful glimpse in the 2-minute 53-second trailer. Sara Ali Khan plays a National Hero, Usha Mehta, and her look is captivating.

Karan Johar has unveiled the teaser of the Sara Ali Khan-starrer ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, which pays homage to freedom fighter Usha Mehta, who at the age of 22 used an underground radio to broadcast news exposing the British Raj during the 1942 Quit India Movement.

The teaser, which is a minute and 32 seconds long, begins with KJo standing in a museum and looking at old pictures, including a board with ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ written on it. He then takes a look at a vintage radio receiver.

The video shows the director-producer saying, “1942. The Britishers were crushing the Quit India Movement. But then came Usha. At the age of 22, she was the ray of hope in our struggle for freedom.”

We then get a glimpse of Sara dressed in a plain white khadi saree and sporting a red bindi.
