the option

It can be a short film about paranoia. Or a horror. Or a Sci Fi. In fact, for me, is a film about choices in life- evolution , not easy, pleasant, always risky, or stagnation when the world around you is in permanent change, you becoming the victim.

Nice atmosphere, good acting, fair game of ambiguity, inspired final. Another good point - honest perspective about move together in case of straigh couple , the parenthood in case of homosexual couple.

In short, provocative story about essential options and their consequences, about world around you becoming strange and menacing you , about decisions and about resignations.

It's strange the way two people change

Writer/director Matt Bentley-Viney's 2023 short film directorial debut has Oliver Asante as poor, befuddled Luke, who finds people changing (seemingly) into different people in front of his eyes. Not quite 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers'. In the words of Betty Davis "It's strange the way two people change".
