Several character designs were different from the later TV series. Randy's outfit is completely different, Rapier has blond hair instead of brown, Solude's skin tone is slightly more tanned, and Mill's outfit is also slightly different.
Several characters who appeared in the later TV series did not appear in this OVA and vice-versa, King Farmount, Ran Chiki, Yoriki, Dawsin, Thanus, and Saber among others only appeared in the TV series, while Den Den, Mix, and Nuts only appear in this OVA. Only the Female Creator appears in this OVA, while the Male Creator does not.
