This was advertised as 30 minutes of fury
Quite possibly my sub 30 minutes would have been more enjoyable stretching my own scrotum with pliers
4 years wait for less than 25 minutes of flaccid poorly delivered jokes
Brendan has managed to fail once again at his chosen vocation
Just go home and be a family man.

Just when you thought "You'd be Surprised" was the worst "comedy special" of all time, "The Gringo Papi" says, "Hole my bear".
Instead of taking a step forward in his career, Brandon has taken ten steps backwards. The sad thing is, this is the culmination of foh years of Brandon working on his craft. How did he get so much worse? The special features old, tired and hacky bits about his hispanic family. Instead of being amusing insights into his life, they come across as violent hatred for the people he's supposed to love. Water weed dune hair?
I think it's time for Brandon to realize that stand up comedy ain't it bapa. Stick to podcasting and perhaps you'll find another thing you're "passionate" about that you can pursue.

This is just not the material of a comedian. No clever concepts. 20 minutes of the most basic Mexican stereotypes you can muster up. Just when you think he finally has moved on to a different topic. He makes a "joke" about Mexican cookies.
Don't subject yourself to this. Painfully unfunny, cringey, poor production, annoying laugh track. I could do better and I don't find myself funny at all.
I couldn't wait for this special. I let my manager at PF Changs know I wouldn't be in for my shift because my wife and I were going to stay home, crack a bottle of Tiger Thiccc Whisky and watch our favorite comic. While it was better than his first special, about 10 minutes in I had the sudden urge to rescue the stray cats that have been roaming around my house lately. While putting out food for them (leftover orange chicken from work), I was looking at my wife's car that she loves and decided to sell it for a more inexpensive car. Needless to say she was furious with me. I'm not sure if it was the special or the whiskey but beware of strange side effects.

Wierd laugh track and near unwatchable comedy. Struggled to make it through anything after 4 minutes glad I didn't have to pay for it.no idea how his comedian friends keep letting him put this type of thing out.
You can't blame a guy for milking his opportunies for all they're worth, but it really is time for Joe to have another talk with Brendan if he really cares about his friend. I cannot believe that nobody in his life will be honest with him. I got embarrassed for Brendan watching this. It genuinely makes me sad.

I tried to like it, but there is nothing funny in the entire thing. Brandon needs to stay in his lane, if this 25 minute YouTube video is anything to go by. & by lane, I mean, disappear from sight.

Think it's time to look for a new career. 2 specials, 0 laughs. It feels like he parodies other comedians. There's nothing compelling or funny in his act. His specials feel like an amateur less than a year in. He's been doing this for a while now.

Unfortunate stuff. Who would post a YouTube video of themself just saying mean things about their spouse and family? I was hoping it would be better but it's pretty much in line with the inflated egos of comedian podcasters. The laugh track was a nice touch (it can also be found on YouTube).

His crumbling marriage and contempt towards his own children is more entertaining and amusing than anything in this, "speshul." Come on down to PF Chang's and hang with the homeless cats. He just GO's, Bappa's.

Not sure why everyone is being so harsh to a guy who is obviously mentally challenged and needs our support to be better. Millions of Americans suffer from CDD, or Comedic Dysfunction Disorder. It is believed to be caused by excess Muscle Milk buildup in the calmedy centre of the brain. Just because someone is physically and mentally incapable of being funny, doesn't mean they don't have the right to try. I give this a 6/10, good effort champ.
Brendan's first special got a bit of a pass for him being a "new" comic. Well bapa, you're not new anymore, and your comedy is still terrible. I can't even talk. This was just as bad as his first special, but no more allowances for "He's a new comic". Just bad.
Why does he get a free pass to roast Mexicans? Because he's married to one? More offensive than funny. I was so disgusted I couldn't even finish my pf changs lunch. What are we doing here?
I came into this one with an open mind and this time, I was surprised! It surprised me how little progress he's made since his first special. From the way Schaub talks about comedy, you'd think he was the second coming of George Carlton, but this is the work that he's spent years "crafting"? For all the talk of hard work that Schaub and his buddies do, they've put the most effort into ruining comedy.

The only good thing about this "special" is that it's under 30 minutes long. How the f is this guy a paid comedian? Who are his fans? I have not even smirked once.
Horrible. At least no network was stupid enough to pay money for this garbage.

So, doing 20 minutes at an open mic night and then posting it on Youtube constitutes a "Special"?
A 20 minute blend of not so subtle racism, mostly aimed at his wife who he clearly hates, and some jokes and mannerisms stolen from other people.
This is actually, by some margin, worst than his first.

I witnessed my grandfather die slowly from a flesh-eating bacterial infection. Maggots ate his eyeballs from within. We had to wear hamzat suits when we gazed through the perspex see-through box he was contained in as we saw him take his last breath.
The Gringo Papi is, by far, the worst thing I've ever witnessed in my life.

It might be worse than his last special, the worst rated comedy special of all time. Comedy is supposed to be funny. What even is this. Pure garbage.
0/10 and may it be his last.

Honestly everything about this is terrible. From the stage design, to the editing, to the over using of the laugh track. If you thought the last speshul was bad and that there's no way this one can be worse well you're wrong. Honestly I felt bad for him watching this. Hopefully Brendan has some investments somewhere else because the grim reaper is going to come knockin on his comedy career soon . Gadooosh!

I can't believe Brendan actually released this as a 'comedy special'. This is just 25 minutes of Mexican stereotypes. The obvious fake laugh track is a real hindrance. Would recommend anyone to do anything else with their time.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Brendan. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of comics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those poor guys scratching their heads in confusion as Brendon Schaub's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

Brendan's writing and overall delivery still leaves a lot to be desired, but it is undeniably an improvement considering his last special, there are some okay bits in here, most are very boring mexican stereotypes, but the last bit is okay.

I eagerly awaited the premiere of Brendan Schaub's "The Gringo Papi", however, after 30 confusing minutes of subtitle-assisted viewing I still couldn't comprehend the bland meandering drivel I just heard.
This 'comedy special' was a crude, semi-racist, and bitter attempt at entertainment that comes across as abrasive, cringe-worthy, and strained.

This is the least funny "comedy" special I've ever watched. Bapa is not a comedian, he's a complete disgrace. Someone needs to have an intervention with this clown.
