Kaun? Kaisey? (1983)

Trivia

Kaun? Kaisey?

Edit
The film used the song "Arab Feast (Ya Ghozayel)" by The Rahbhani Brothers. this song was in the album RON GOODWIN and His Concert Orchestra: MUSIC FOR AN ARABIAN NIGHT / HOLIDAY IN BEIRUT. It appears in the film when Deepak watches a belly dancer. Ye Bhi Koi Roothne Ka Din Hai - Film: Solva Saal (1958). Music by S.D.Burman. Considering Solva Saal came out in 1958, and Music for an Arabian Night was released in 1959, it is possible that the senior Burman sought inspiration from the original version of Arab Feast, called 'Ya Ghozayel', composed by the Rahbani Brothers. The movie Badal (1985) title music also sampled "Ya Ghozayel". In the song "Rang Jamake Jayenge" (Audio version) from Naseeb at 3:15, the tune from "Arab Feast - Ya Ghozayel" is recreated.
The film's plotline was inspired from James Hadley novel Tiger By The Tail. Kashmakash (1973) Akalmand (1984), Karishmaa (1984), 88 Antop Hill (2003) were all inspired by this novel.
Ranjeeta Kaur had a falling out with Deepak Parashar. She kept telling people Deepak had a special appearance in the film . Deepak retaliated that he had the best role in the film. He stated Ranjeeta was frustrated with her career. Thats why she was making such statements.
Anil Ganguly's first film as producer was Kaun? Kaisey?? (1983) starring Mithun Chakraborty. He fell ill after the film flopped, and then gambled all he had on Saaheb (1985), which, fortunately, did well. But his later films also went unnoticed.
The producers had casted the controversial actress /model "Candy" (Vijay Kumari) in the film. She appears in the famous song "Aao Mere Paas Aur Aao" with Deepak Parashar . The producers fearing any type of controversy for having her in the film, credited her simply as "Kumari" in the title sequence. She was involved with politician V.K.Shukla. She was introduced to him by producer G.P.Sippy. Thru the influence of V.K. Shukla and G.P. Sippy , Candy was able to gain entrance to the FTII school without giving any entrance exams. She was a horrible dancer but was still allowed entrance in the dance classes due to her connections.
