The first castle shown with the bridge ( the carriage is driving on) is Ludlow castle in the Shropshire countryside.
It was reported in Jan. 2025 that three months into filming the second season, lead actor Noel Fielding reportedly stopped showing up for work. No reason was given why at the time. Instead of recasting, producers just shut down production and ended the series even though much of the season had been completed.
