Best Avoided

Egypt's Lost Cities

This programme had such promise but got lost in the mire of sensationalism, the main problem was the two presenters, they just knew nothing about anything, they weren't historians let alone egyptologists.

The programme then spent its time trying to vindicate this satellite surveying. Despite trying to massage the finds nothing of note was found and then to cap it all the scientist called Sarah stated Howard Carter was a failure.

We all know that satellite surveying is a fabulous tool in identifying areas to look at but to suggest it is anymore is absurd.

At best this is a 4 outta 10, meaning best skipped.
