Lifetime Plans "Aurora Teagarden" Telemovies
Author Charlaine Harris, whose Sookie Stackhouse novel were the basis of HBO's "True Blood" series, is teaming with Hallmark for a new series of telemovies based on her eight-book "Aurora Teagarden" series which ran from 1990 to 2003.

Candace Cameron Bure ("Full House") is onboard to play the title character of Aurora 'Roe' Teagarden, a librarian who is also a crime buff, a lover of mystery novels and a member of the Real Murders Club who meet to analyze famous crimes and mysteries.

Her insight into true crime ends up putting her at the center of different crimes that happen in her community.

Teena Booth ("Cyberbully") will pen the script for the first telemovie which Bure and Harris will executive produce. It's not presently clear how many movies Hallmark is planning, or which of the books it will adapt first.

Emily Osment Talks About CyberBully
Phillippe Bosse/ABC Family

On July 17, ABC Family is premiering a very important movie for teens. Cyberbully, starring Emily Osment (Hannah Montana and Spy Kids 2), tells the story of a young girl verbally attacked so viciously on an Internet social networking site that she falls into a deep depression. We spoke with Osment about the film and her anti-bullying efforts in an exclusive interview.

As an actress Emily was drawn to the role for the depth of the part. "Of all the other character's I've ever played, she's the most dramatic, definitely. And she's the most tragic and she takes a journey and she definitely has the biggest character arc I've ever seen. So it was time to jump into that with both feet and hopefully land in a place that helped me gear up for two months of depression and suicidal behavior."

She continued, "I think it's extremely important...

Meaghan Rath — Bona Fide Fangirl and Supercool Chick
There's been a lot of talk around here recently about real geek girls and actresses who pretend to be geek girls. Well, I recently had the good fortune to spend some time getting to know a young woman that is both a talented actress and an honest-to-goodness geek. They might be a rare breed, but they do exist.

Meaghan Rath stars in Syfy's hit reimagining of Being Human, the British series about roommates who happen to be a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf. As Sally the spirit, Rath has proven to be, literally and figuratively, the soul of the show. At Comicpalooza, Texas' largest comic-con, in our interview and the panel I hosted with her, Rath revealed herself to be an authentic fangirl, giving all the right answers to all the telling questions.

Arriving sans handler or retinue, Rath was incredibly laid back, more an excited convention-goer than one...
