I just finished watching now. There are so many moments in it where I feel the characters, but as the story moves on, I started getting nervous, knowing there would be some serious trouble. Sure enough, the ending was up to the highest level of horror. I didn't expect it to go this way at all, but in the end it all made sense.
I should say that the acting was moving, convincing, aside from one minor one-scene character I thought wasn't believable. The boss who fires him is mean, but he could have gone harder for the drama.
I recommend Darwin to anyone who has kids, or parents. There are lessons here, but also a lot of humanity. This move shows the universality of all of us, how we react to adversity and how we depend on family, for better or worse.
