It attempts to blend the gritty tension of a murder mystery with the high-stakes thrills of a heist film. Unfortunately, it fails spectacularly on both counts, delivering a cinematic experience that's less "edge-of-your-seat" and more "edge-of-throwing-your-remote-at-the-screen".
It's hard to tell if the actors were phoning it in or simply struggling with the dreadful dialogue, which is a constant stream of clichés and exposition dumps
The "heist" itself is laughably inept. Forget intricate planning and nail-biting suspense; this is more of a disorganized scramble punctuated by moments of sheer incompetence.
The murder mystery aspect is equally disappointing. The clues are either too obvious or completely nonsensical, and the "twists" are predictable long before they arrive. The pacing is also way off.
Badly written with a decent cast. They keep writing these bad movies and the direction is even worse. I thought maybe with Casper Van Dien I'd get some good scenes with one of my favorite actors but no. It's crazy because you think because of the title, it's gonna be a scary or at least suspenseful movie, but its way too predictable. I think it's meant to be a comedy with all the pot involved but its just dumb.
