I am not a tamilian. I saw this movie recently after i saw his latest equally brilliant movie yuddam sei. I was stunned by the camera work.Its excellent from the first shot. The story is good.It keeps you engrossed in the film from the beginning till the end. Actors were adequate. There are no stars but their acting looked better by the directors brilliance. Background score is one of the best i have heard in recent times.Songs are good and very well picturized. Do not miss it.You shoud go and watch this movie if you have not seen it still. Its worth owning this movie. Hats off Miskin (director) .I hope he churns out movies like these and keep entertaining us.

One of the best movies of tamil cinema. The movie is slow but that's turnedout to be the beauty of the movie. A fine story with equally powerful screenplay.

Mysskin is undoubtedly one of the best technicians. Story is a cocktail of Emotions. Friendship ,betrayal , Ambitions ,family drama,Love, Thrilling moments everything that u need to watch it. Last 45 min is lit. The detailing and shot taking at its best. Strong Performances. Sound editing is too good. Rush in screenplay is much needed here. Watch it . Highly recommended.

I am Tamil I like valameenukkum velangumeenukkum song which is a Tamil folk(Ghana) song. I went for this movie called chithiram pesuthadi to see the song. I was pleasantly surprised with the first half.I enjoyed the song however I was shocked with the method the movie was taken. It was a message send by the director to the Tamil cinema world. Guys I am right here take a look at me. Thats exactly what the title meant as well chittiram pesuthadi means something similar to a picture can speak 1000 words though can't be directly translated to English. It did speak a lot, the subject and the message was evident and very effective as well. Thats when i decided to watch his next movie. Later I came to know about anjathey and I was literally waiting along with my friends to watch the movie. The movie went on to be a block buster. I wondered what will be running inside this guys mind Wow ! I mean the director. A story teller . A beautiful mind. He dint have to open his mouth and utter those words, I respect the audience intelligence, the movie is a example by itself. Every character is chiseled though the main characters are protagonist. In real life there is no real villain only grey shades white and very few blacks and loads of intolerance, which makes things a chaos. Such are the characters in the movie.Pluse points of the movie 1)Well planned pace of the movie is like a poem. 2) The tint in the movie gives it a dark shade. 3) Music BGM is something i always like in all his movies. 4) Camera angles are a wonder. 5) Climax is a blast. 6) Directors ability to play with audience mind is outstanding.

We people have the habit of comparing our sivaji to Marlon Brando. kodambakkam is always compared to Hollywood mind you half Tamil movies are remade in Hindi and are block busters in Bollywood. I would compare him to Christopher Nolan though working style is different. I am doing this as a victim of his genuineness. He can keep you riveted to his story until the movie is over and after. Happy the Tamil cinema is changing. Sometimes i feel like leaving everything and go join him as a assistant director. Anjathey will tease you, make you cry, make you sit at the edge of the seat and don't be surprised if you forget the popcorn your holding in your hands. A must watch, without any disturbances.

Director myshkin good movie with a strong content. A great content with good screenplay will ride you to the wonderful journey. Naren played a wonderful cop role, he did really well and prasanna did a excellent anti villain role. All the characters did their job well, loved their performances. Negative in this movie is running time. The movie running for more than 3 hours. If they trimmed 20 or 25 minutes of unwanted scenes then it would be a great movie. Running time is the big negative for this movie. But one time watchable good movie!

Even after all these days this movie puts some sense in crime movie at an era where logics were a joke

Another myshkin's thriller movie...the best characterization make this movie an wonder... hero, hero's friend,prasanna,pandiyarajan ...dad characters... police station scenes .. everything.... surely this is a masterpiece

Good Movie. Everybody acted very well in the movie. Songs and BGM in the movie were so good. The movie was so interesting at 1st half. The 2nd half in the movie lagged and bored a lot. The movie had many unwanted vulgar scenes that made the movie boring. Good Movie.
