August 2025 is going to give anime fans everything they have ever wanted. Okay, not everything, but there’s a lot of new anime to look out for as Hulu has added four major titles to its catalog. There’s romance in The Dangers in My Heart, slice-of-life drama in Farming Life in Another World, idol drama in Oshi No Ko, and supernatural thriller in Call of the Night to check out.

These four titles reflect Hulu’s expanding anime strategy as they have brought in high-demand shows in subbed and dubbed formats for a wide audience. So, whether you are looking to watch season 2 of Oshi no Ko or just looking to check out a dark supernatural drama, there’s something for everyone to watch in August 2025.

Summer 2025 is shaping up to be a great one for anime fans Stateside. Recently, U.S.-based streaming service Hulu confirmed its acquisition of four additional anime titles that were previously available exclusively on AMC Networks' Hidive.

Per Hulu, the platform will begin streaming Seasons 1 and 2 of Shin-Ei Animation's hit romance anime, The Dangers in My Heart, starting Aug. 14. Call of the Night and Farming Life in Another World will join Hulu's summer anime lineup on Aug. 21. Additionally, Hulu has also acquired Season 2 of Oshi no Ko, giving subscribers long-awaited access to the second half of Doga Kobo's hit idol drama. Each of the aforementioned works will be available with both English and Japanese-language options upon release.

Paramount’s free streaming service, Pluto TV, has revealed its May highlights. The Pluto TV May 2025 lineup includes anime marathons, babysitter mishaps, and movie nights so good you might forget to leave the couch.
