Nah, this show is a nothing burger. Unless you want to see Chet eat hamburgers in greasy spoons all over Texas. Little history, little insight, ... Who needs writers? A nothing burger.

I love this show. A little history, a little food, a little adventure, and some comedy mixed in. Great ideas for bored days. Pictures don't do locations justice. Whereas, this show shows how beautiful places can be in person.

In a fake World, full of fake influencers, fake movie stars, fake food and fake people. It is so refreshing to watch The Daytripper! It is real and uncut unlike "reality" tv. They actually go to small communities that built America and talk to REAL people.

Chet is a plethora of knowledge of history! He is whimsical. He is fun! I am not from Texas and truly don't even like most Texans but yet... I tune in every week on Create to watch reruns of Chet and the gang! He finds the most obscure places and history that I am waiting to win on Jeopardy with!

It is amazing how he goes EVERYWHERE in the State. From the coast, to the plains to the hills to the metros.

Now when I have to run to Texas, I can stop in towns that I used to pass by and eat at some of the real restaurants instead of some nasty chain!

The fact that this show has any bad reviews is a true testament of how happy people are!

A fun show for the whole family! We started watching in season 3 and have been hooked since. Chet and the whole crew are a blast! They make Texas history fun to learn and show the coolest places in every city to explore. And when it comes to food, they show all the best spots! I hope this show goes on forever!
