“The Irishman” co-stars Al Pacino and Joe Pesci are up for Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars, but this is not the first time the duo has gone head to head. They last clashed 29 years ago in the same category, and one came out on top.

Pesci prevailed for his iconic role as Tommy DeVito in “Goodfellas” (1990), defeating Pacino (“Dick Tracy”), Bruce Davison (“Longtime Companion”), Andy Garcia (“The Godfather Part III”) and Graham Greene (“Dances with Wolves”). Now that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has set the table for Warner Bros.' massive DC Extended Universe (Dceu), fans are shifting their attention to the next adventures on the studio's slate. Suicide Squad arrives August 5, with Wonder Woman hitting theaters on June 2, 2017. Production is still under way on Wonder Woman, and star Gal Gadot seems to have revealed a new cast member through her Instagram account, Victoria's Secret model Doutzen Kroes. The actress posted a photo from a recent dinner, along with co-star Connie Nielsen and boxer Ann Wolfe, where she calls the ladies her "Amazonian sisters."

Connie Nielsen also posted an Instagram photo from the same meal, which included professional horse trainer Camilla Naprous, who worked on the production. We don't know for sure who exactly Doutzen Kroes is playing in Wonder Woman, but Gal Gadot's photo makes it clear that she is an Amazon Warrior.

The biggest buzz currently in the Dutch film industry is the upcoming premiere of Reinout Oerlemans' sophomore feature "Nova Zembla", a large-scale historical drama which is also the first Dutch movie to be filmed with the new 3D technology. The story concerns the true-life travel of Willem Barentsz, who in 1596 tried to find a shorter shipping route to India by going North over Russia through uncharted waters. The ship and its crew got surprisingly far, managing to round the Northern tip of the island Nova Zembla before getting irrevocably stuck in the ice.
