Following the example of games like Fortnite, the Call of Duty series has also managed to create some of the most original collaborations in recent years. For example, Modern Warfare 3 has already included several collaborations in the past, and it seems that another one is on the way.
According to leaks, the game will add three new cel-shaded maps, commemorating a possible collaboration with the Borderlands franchise. August marks the release of the live-action movie for this IP.

In recent years, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been characterized by countless collaborations, very similar to what Fortnite constantly does. These crossovers have worked very well to sell all kinds of additional content.
The game already features well-known franchises like Godzilla, Attack on Titan, Dune, and many others. According to new leaks, it seems that a new collaboration is coming soon.

Director Eduardo Rodriguez has been, at least for me, something of a underrated talent. His first Hollywood movie, Stash House, was an effective action thriller and his follow-up, El Gringo, was a superb film and star-making vehicle for action star Scott Adkins. And – at least for me – his Fright Night sequel-c0me-remake was a decent entry in the franchise and one that I enjoyed more than the Colin Farrell iteration. So when I discovered his latest feature film, You’re Not Alone, was due out this week – after apparently being filmed in 2016 under the title Unwanted – I knew I had to check it out… And I’m glad I did.

A few decades after Top Gun, career history repeats itself for Tom Cruise with his role as an ace flyboy in American Made. This jaunty, timely but somewhat derivative true-crime comedy-thriller casts the star as a fictionalized version of pilot Barry Seal, a real guy who ran drugs, money and guns between Latin America and the U.S. in the 1980s with backing from the CIA.
Director Doug Liman, reteaming with Cruise in the wake of their commercial and critical success Edge of Tomorrow, applies plenty of stylistic top-spin to the bouncy, chatty screenplay by Gary Spinelli (Stash House), compelling Cruise to raise his...

If you’re like us, one big Tom Cruise blockbuster a year just isn’t enough. Cruise may be headlining the start of a brand new franchise with The Mummy this coming weekend, but those who are lukewarm on the prospect may find more to like in his other venture coming out later this year, American Made. The film reunites him with Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman, and shows him as a pilot given the opportunity to run a covert operation for the U.S. government.
Universal has now released a brand new trailer for the upcoming crime flick, and it looks to be pretty darn solid. If the names Cruise and Liman aren’t enough to sell you, the trailer itself may be. It looks to be a fun little ride in the vein of War Dogs, Lord of War, and Catch Me if You Can, which is a very good thing.

Tom Cruise's latest film Mena has been in production since late May in Colombia, with Universal Pictures setting a January 6, 2017 release date. Deadline reports that tragedy struck the set last night, as a small plane crashed near the Medellin, Colombia set, claiming the lives of two crew members. A third passenger who was aboard the twin-engine Aerostar plane survived the crash, but none of the victims have been identified.
Sources confirmed to Deadline that star Tom Cruise and director Doug Liman were not on the plane, since they had both just wrapped a scene when the crash took place. The director is said to be very shaken up over the deaths. The plane was heading to Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellin when the crash occurred. Here's what a spokesperson for Universal Pictures had to say about the crash.

Tom Cruise is reuniting with his Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman for the upcoming crime thriller Mena. Ron Howard was once attached to direct the project after Universal picked up the spec script by Gary Spinelli (Stash House) for $1 million. Universal is distributing, with Cross Creek Pictures providing the financing and producing with Imagine Entertainment.
Mena is based on the true story of Barry Seal, a Twa pilot who was fired and then becomes a major drug smuggler for the Medellin Cartel in Colombia. He was later recruited by both the DEA and the CIA to provide intelligence on the cartel, which was tied in to the Iran-Contra affair. Barry Seal was assassinated by the Colombians in 1986.

Deadline is reporting that Universal Pictures has paid $1,000,000 for a spec script titled Mena from writer Gary Spinelli. Ron Howard is attached to direct.
Here’s the plot of Mena courtesy of Deadline:
The spec is a fact-based tale about Barry Seal, a portly pilot who, in the 1980s, was a 300-pound gun runner, and drug trafficker who transported contraband for the CIA and the Medellin cartel. He was eventually shot to death by the latter in Baton Rouge. The title refers to Mena, Arkansas, where a lot of the illegal activity took place, under the noses of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and then-Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton.
I did a quick IMDb search on Spinelli, and all I can find is a movie called Stash House from 2012 starring Dolph Lundgren. Have any of you seen it? Is there a chance that it’s good?

While the disappointing box office of Ron Howard's underrated "Rush" caused a shakeup at production house Exclusive Media, that doesn't mean no one is banking on the director. And Universal has stepped up, putting down $1 million on a spec script by Gary Spinelli (whose only credit is the Dolph Lundgren starring "Stash House") for Howard to helm. "Mena" will tell the true story of "Barry Seal, a portly pilot who, in the 1980s, was a 300-pound gun runner, and drug trafficker who transported contraband for the CIA and the Medellin cartel. He was eventually shot to death by the latter in Baton Rouge." Sounds like great material, and another fascinating direction for Howard who seems like he's quietly trying to push himself as a filmmaker with his latest choices. No word on when this roll, but it seems pretty early on in development stages. Here's a vintage report from...

Over the weekend, Universal made a strong move in closing a $1m. deal for a spec script, Mena, with Ron Howard attached to direct.
The script was hotly sought-after at auction, with Sony also in the mix, Deadline report, but Universal took the script off the market with its $1m. offer, and a blind script commitment for writer Gary Spinelli (Stash House).
The film is based on the real-life story of Barry Seal, described as a portly pilot who was a 300-pound gun runner and drug trafficker back in the 1980s who transported contraband for the CIA and the Medellín cartel. It was the latter who are reported to have eventually shot him to death in 1986 in Baton Rouge, though conspiracies swirl around the events of his death.

This has been quite a year for Eduardo Rodriguez. The man has been toiling in the Hollywood trenches for years, ever since making Curandero. That film, which was shepherded by Robert Rodriguez, unfortunately sat on a shelf awaiting release while Eduardo jumped into television projects like Fear Itself. This year, however, saw the release of not just Curandero (subtitled "Dawn of the Demon") but Stash House, starring Dolf Lundgren. And, next week, comes Eduardo's Fright Night 2: The New Blood. Three films in one year? Not too shabby.
This new installment in the Fright Night legacy is essentially a reboot. A fresh start. "New Blood" as the title says. Although the character names are the same, the "sequel" carries no connection to the original films or the remake that came out in 2011. Eduardo was literally able to start over and put his take on the tale of a young...

At the rate Dolph Lundgren is pumping out direct to market action movies, you get the feeling that a quality script is not his highest priority – after all many of his recent solo efforts have been severely lacking in both story and action, with only Stash House coming anywhere close to being a top-notch action flick. Thankfully Lundgren’s ratio of good to bad movies seems to be in his favour this time out and Hard Rush hits plenty of action-movie targets, even if it does succumb to a lot of genre cliches and stereotypes.
Lundgren stars as DEA Agent Maxwell who is closing in on an international cocaine smuggling operation run out of L.A. by criminal mastermind Vincent Camastra (Jones). When Maxwell sends his lover and fellow DEA agent,...

When "Fright Night" hit theaters back in 1985, Columbia Pictures thought it performed well-enough to warrant a sequel. Three years later, "Fright Night Part II" was released, reuniting the main cast members. Last year, DreamWorks remade the original film with Colin Farrell and Anton Yelchin in the lead. Unfortunately, it grossed only $18 million domestically on a $30 million budget. But the studio is still interested in continuing the franchise. Styd has learned that the studio is moving forward with a direct-to-dvd follow-up, that's planned as a stand-alone story. The goal is to begin shooting in Romania soon. Eduardo Rodriguez (Curandero, "Fear Itself," Stash House) is in talks to direct. None of the original cast members are expected to return.

Remember that Fright Night sequel to the remake we told you about a few days ago? Well, it sounds like it's on track for a direct-to-dvd release, and a director is being lined up. Read on for the details!
Styd has learned that Eduardo Rodriguez is in talks to direct the flick, which will be a stand-alone story that's gearing up for an imminent shoot in Romania. Rodriguez's prior credits include El Gringo, Stash House, Curandero, and "The Circle" episode of the "Fear Itself" anthology series. It's unlikely Colin Farrell and/or Anton Yelchin will reprise their roles from last year's remake.

Apparently while $41 million worldwide box office from a $30 million dollar budget (not to mention the dollars that usually go into promoting a heavy studio title like “Fright Night”) would never be considered a “hit” in any universe, it’s enough to consider a sequel. Or at least, one that’s destined to head straight-to-dvd, which seems to be where the sequel to the recently rebooted “Fright Night” horror flick is headed. Horror site Styd says they’re hearing that the sequel is already in the works, and even has a director in Eduardo Rodriguez lined up. If the name sounds familiar, that’s because Rodriguez was responsible for not one, but two After Dark Action films from earlier in the year, the Dolph Lundgren actioner “Stash House” and the Scott Adkins actioner “El Gringo”. The latter movie is way better than the former, in case you were thinking about picking them up.

• Dark Circles - Starring Johnathon Schaech and Pell James, written and directed by Paul Soter. When new parents Alex and Penny retreat from the city and move into a place outside town, the stress and massive sleep-deprivation caused by their infant has both of them seeing things in the house that may or may not exist.

If you thought moving day sucked, wait until you move into the wrong house! That’s basically the premise of Eduardo Rodriguez’s “Stash House”. If the name Eduardo Rodriguez sounds familiar, that’s because I just reviewed “El Gringo”, which he also directed. Like “El Gringo”, “Stash House” is part of the After Dark Action movie line-up, and has the distinction of being the fourth in the five-film “festival” package that makes up the inaugural After Dark Action franchise that we’ve reviewed on the site. (The fifth movie is “The Philly Kid”, which is about boxing, and unless it has Rocky in the title, I’m not much of a boxing fan, so there you have it.) “Stash House” is not to be mistaken with “Safe House”. For one, you get Sean Faris instead of Ryan Reynolds, and while they may both be pretty boys that get all the girls,...

Check out a new trailer from the fest, which assembles all the line-up’s five titles (“Dragon Eyes”, “Transit”, “El Gringo”, “Stash House”, and “The Philly Kid”) into one action-packed trailer. After Dark Action is from the same people who gave us the After Dark Films, and now they’re doing to action what they did with horror. Following on from the trailer that arrived online last week a new still has come to light from Eduardo Rodriguez's home invasion thriller 'Stash House'. The new pic features the shifty looking pair of Dolph Lundgren and John Huertas. The thuggish duo wreak havoc on their new neighbours Briana Evigan ('Sorority Row', 'Mother's Day') and Sean Faris ('Never Back Down') as they try to get into the house for its secret stashes. Rodriguez directs from a script by Gary Spinelli. The sexy Evigan really doesn't have much luck when it comes to home invasions. What with tiger invasion in 'Burning Bright' and psychotic Milf invasion in 'Mother's Day' you'd have thought she might have learnt her lesson by now. Anyhoo check out the new still below....

After Dark Films, the same folks who bring us the After Dark Horrorfest every year, are about to branch out with another closely related genre: action. This week, in partnership with Dark Castle Home Entertainment, they have announced After Dark Action, a series of "five original, adrenaline-pumping films" that will be released simultaneously on demand and in select theatres. The movies feature an impressive line-up of stars that include Jean Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Peter Weller, James Caviezel, Harold Perrineau, Scott Adkins and Christian Slater. It certainly sounds promising, but will these movies be any better than the direct-to-video drivel that a lot of these guys have been starring in over the past decade? The full list of films is as follows: Transit – Starring James Caviezel, James Frain, Elizabeth Rohm, Harold Perrineau and Sterling Knight; and directed by Antonio Negret and written by Michael Gilvary Dragon Eyes – Starring Jean Claude Van Damme,...

The Fringe is a place where non-horror genre films can get some play on Shock. These films might be sci-fi, fantasy or action - and certainly contain some horror elements - but will likely be light on scares, or, straight-up "horror." Still, they might be of interest to you.
A thriller Shock was the first to tell you about a bit ago, Stash House, is currently in post-production for producer Joel Silver. Sean Faris, Briana Evigan and Dolph Lundgren star and, today, we have your first look at the thriller.
Eduardo Rodriguez directs; he previously helmed Curandero, a supernatural flick unreleased by Dimension Films. He also tackled an episode of Fear Itself ("The Circle").
In Stash House, a couple love their new house, bought for a steal out of a foreclosure. During their first visit, they find illegal drugs stashed in the walls and they realize this is not their dream house.

Eduardo Rodriguez’s Stash House is offering He-Man Dolph Lundgren to step into less heroic, decidedly sinister, shoes, and while news from the production has been sparse until now, we finally have a first glimpse of what is to come. The film, seeing release later this year, also stars Briana Evigan.
Synopsis:
“A couple love their new house, bought for a steal out of a foreclosure. During their first visit they find illegal drugs stashed in the walls, and they realize this is not their dream house. As they are about to leave, suddenly their exit is blocked by a gun-wielding neighbor Spector and his accomplice.
As they are about to leave, suddenly their exit is blocked by a gun-wielding neighbor Spector and his accomplice. They come to realize the house is hiding more than drugs – it’s the operation center for mass drug czar who is buried beneath the floorboards.

I really hadn’t paid too much attention to the fact that director Uwe Boll was making a sequel to the severely misguided Jason Statham fantasy epic “In the Name of the King”, mostly because I never expected the damned thing to come to fruition. Much to my surprise, the flick is already in the can, and it’s tentatively scheduled to receive some sort of release this winter. How crazy is that nonsense? All of this incredibly nifty information recently popped up on Dolph Lundgren’s Facebook page, including the revelation that he’s working on a flick called “One in the Chamber” with Cuba Gooding, Jr. and a horror film from After Dark entitled “Stash House”. Next year is gonna be a pretty solid year for fans of the Dolph. I’m pumped for it. Here’s the plot for “In the Name of the King 2″: An...

While Dolph Lundgren is no stranger to playing a villain, he hasn’t done so in a horror film, and while After Dark’s latest in Stash House isn’t an out-right horror film, it’s damn close. The home invasion movie had some behind-the-scenes pictures released, as well as an overly long plot synopsis.

The gorgeous Briana Evigan (below) just cannot help herself. She seems to be popping up in horrors and thrillers at every turn. Already with sub-par 'Donnie Darko' sci-fi sequel 'S. Darko', slash-happy remake 'Sorority Row', hungry tiger tale 'Burning Bright' and home invasion set-piece 'Mother's Day' already under her heaving horror belt the girl already has another trio of thrillers set up including 'Rites of Passage', 'Stash House' and Richard Gray's 'Mine Games'. The latter is Aussie helmer Gray's new time travelling thriller which will also star Ethan Peck, Joseph Cross, Alex Meraz, Rafi Gavron, Rebecca Da Costa and yet another smoking hot addition, Julianna Guill. Guill (below) herself is yet another red hot horror actress of late with credits that include 'Altitude', 'My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 2' and not forgetting her naked...
