This was an excellent movie! I was thoroughly entertained throughout the whole movie. It is the perfect mix of darkness, sexuality, and raw emotion. I could totally relate to Chad and his father/stepfather issues. I think we all have our own struggles and triumphs, and this movie is a perfect example of that. The whole movie was done well as a whole. All of the actors/actresses did a great job acting. Each character was unique in their own way. The music was also a hit with me. "Hardly Beloved" is definitely not a movie for your grandmother to watch, family friendly, or even a movie for those who have closed minds. I learned something about myself from this movie. It is that I wish I had a little more courage to stand up for myself, especially when it comes to my own family.
