I always say Norway can't do movies or TV shows, But this made me watch it all in one go.. too much swearing, But the show is funny, stupid and clever. It leaves me hungry for more even after a good ending and that's what a good show should do. Nice little snack:) it's a weird zombie like tvshow with not too much gore for people who don't like gore but still want a thrilling show, it's blood, but not to much of it. The story of 6 outcast with different past goes so well togheter and makes you want to join them. To be honest I don't understand if it gets any bad reviews, it was about time with something new. And I'm a hard one to please.
An apocalyptic virus is ravaging the planet and this one makes people do stupid things which get them killed. The unlikely survivors of this event include a narcissistic musician, a flower power hippy, a hard-nosed businesswoman, a loner survivalist, a lucky code breaker and a mostly mute schoolgirl (who may not be exactly what she seems). Some of this dynamic team are only a couple of IQ points higher than the 'dumbies' (not zombies) they are evading and, somehow, they've also been tasked with protecting and delivering the cure-all vaccine to a community of elitists holed up in a secret government facility (and completing Frode's faecal story arc along the way). Dumbsday has plenty of chuckles, snappy dialogue and also includes some surprisingly clever 2nd level of meaning references to the events of recent years. Another season would definitely be welcome and if TEOTWAWKI ever actually happens, you can forget about the bunkers and gated communities - I want to be out there with Frode's misfit team of bumbling incompetents.
Amateurish, poorly acted, unfunny, slow. What is there to like? I gave up after two episodes. I'd been tempted not to carry on after the first, but thought I'd give it a chance. When I realised I'd have to sit through ten installments of this instead of the conventional eight, I couldn't bear the thought of it.
Ok, it's a comedy but you can't suspend reality entirely. The deliberate arson in the first episode was just so absurdly handled inasmuch as the perpetrator wasn't lynched for deliberately destroying the group's safe zone but invited to tag along with them.
Honestly, I've got better things to do with my time than watch nonsense aimed at those with a brain the size of a pea.
This was screamingly bad. Don't be tempted to even start watching.

Legendary stuff, totally recommend it! Next to Lord of the rings, last of us and game of thrones this is the best travelling sci-fi/fantasy plot series i've ever seen. The first episode is just epic, and I love the «slow» moving story-line of the series. Visually this is really really strong, and the cgi, especially of the plane crash, is totally breathtaking. The actors and actresses is delivering their a-game on this one, though personally Jacob Schoyen is my favorite in this one. His character is out of this world ridicolous. Script, and comedy are a bit left, which makes the show constantly move unexpected directions, in a good way. Overall, most binge-worthy show of the year.
