- Armando: [about the wheelchair ballroom dancing competition] So, if we decide to do this, we have six weeks. That's six weeks to get into shape, to learn new routines. So, I don't know; what do you guys think?
- Kenny: [sullen] I don't know, man.
- Chantelle: Honey, I'm in it to win it.
- Armando: Right, so every wheelchair dancer's gonna need an able bodied partner.
- Kenny: Yeah, man, where are we gonna get one of those?
- Armando: Well, it just so happens, I may have a few volunteers.
- [a montage set to the Debelah Morgan song "Dance With Me" follows]
- Chantelle: [finishing applying her makeup just before she goes onstage] Beyoncé, eat your heart out!
- Armando: [speaking about dancing] It's about how you feel when you move and how that movement makes you feel.
- Mr. Grinker: Who are you?
- Drag Queen #1: Oh, sweetheart, I'm the costume co-ordinator for the big dance competition. These are my assistants. Can you direct me to your ballroom?
- Isabel: [Mia, in panic, has tried to back out of the competition] Mia, I've seen the way my son looks at you. He loves you! When I told you that love meant letting go, I was wrong. I hope that you go back out there and dance. And more than that, I hope you win.
- Mia: [Mia laughs, and is startled when Isabel takes a can of spray and sprays Mia on the cheek] What's that?
- Isabel: For good luck!
- [She kisses Mia on the forehead]
- Nicky: [to Armando] Are you a real dance teacher? 'Cause you don't sound like a real dance teacher to me!
