    One movie, three awesome tales.

'Frenemies' was the first movie of this summer holidays and I loved it very much. There were three stories in it and I like them all. The first story was about a boy and his dog. The dog was so cute. The second story about two thick friends who does everything together, they have never separated, but one it will be tested when they seek the job at a fashion magazine. And the third and final was about two girls who alike. the movie ends with a wonderful song.It was different movie than I thought.one of the best Disney channel movie.

    not good

Avalon Greene (Bella Thorne) and Halley Brandon (Zendaya) used to be BFFs. Now, they're frenemies. Same goes for their various fellow teens. Superficial Julianne (Stefanie Scott) uses science nerd Jake Logan (Nick Robinson) to partner up with for their science project. His dog Murray is too smart for her tricks. Skateboarding Savannah (Mary Mouser) seems to like both Jake and Murray. Then there is Savannah and her rich doppelganger Emma.

I don't like Jake's temporary turn against Murray. I don't like either Avalon or Halley. By the time we get to Savannah/Emma, I stopped caring. The cast is filled with interesting up and comers. It's fun to see the kid actors trying to do some acting. Splitting the movie up into three sections does not help with the flow. Overall, it's not good.

    SO GOOD

I absolutely loved this movie, it was an awesome movie coming from a 23 year old! I do recommend! So upset I can't find on DVD as they took it off Netflix!

Frenemies, Frenemies, just a perfect Blenemies

Shake It Up Stars Belle Thorne and Zendaya and Stefanie Scott of ANT Farm star in this latest Disney Studio teen offering Frenemies. It's a tribute to today texting culture. And it's a trilogy.

Act I is your boy and dog story with Nick Robinson as a science geek and his best friend, his dog Murray who is real intuitive and smarter than a lot of people. Also he's a good judge of character as he spots how shallow teen queen Scott is and the girl for him is Mary Mouser. After all anyone who is an animal lover has got plenty going for them.

Taking center stage in Act II are bloggers Belle Thorne and Zendaya who go to school with Robinson, Scott, and Mouser and have recorded their story for posterity. The two best girl buds are put to an acid test when they compete for a position with Jessalyn Wanlim's magazine and her character is a light version of Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada. Will friendship trump ambition? This is a Disney Studio production so you know the answer.

The third Act is a female version of The Prince And The Pauper as Mary Mouser meets her rich teen princess look alike and both decide they'd like to live the other's life and do for a week. The consequences aren't quite like the Mark Twain story where the fate of a kingdom was in the balance. Still with a high school musical type finale it all ends on a high note.

Not a bad film, I liked the first story best, but then again I'm a cat lover and no one comes between him and me.

    • Goofs
As Savannah skateboards down the sidewalk toward Jake and Murray (the dog), she loses control and flips over a bush out of sight. Her skateboard remains behind on the middle of the sidewalk about midway on a driveway where the two intersect. The next shot is a point of view from Jake looking up the sidewalk, but no skateboard can be seen anywhere near the driveway and sidewalk intersection. The following scene shows Savannah returning to the sidewalk, but now the skateboard is on the sidewalk near the right edge of the driveway rather than at the original midway point.

[Savannah needs to confide in her butler]

Savannah: Can I tell you something? I'm not Emma. I'm Savannah.

      Pemberly: [gasps] I'm shocked.

      Savannah: You won't tell anyone?

Pemberly: [chuckles] Please, you have no idea what kind of secrets I keep around here. That's why my Christmas bonus is so high.
