This week:
John Cho and Clark Duke have their identities stolen; James Van Der Beek celebrates Labor Day; Ridley Scott’s The Counselor gets Cruz control; Ray Liotta, Chloe Moretz, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are stuck in a Rut; January Jones and Ed Harris sip some Sweetwater; and Taylor Swift is Joni Mitchell.
1. John Cho and Clark Duke will join Jason Bateman, Melissa McCarthy, and Amanda Peet in The Identity Thief.
According to THR:
“Seth Gordon is directing the feature project, which centers on a milquetoast family man (Bateman) who gets a life-lesson in stepping up when his identity is stolen by a mess of a woman (McCarthy).”

Mad Men‘s January Jones is set to star in a new period drama opposite Ed Harris called Sweetwater. Deadline reports that Logan and Noah Miller are set to direct, and Jason Netter is producing. Filming is slated to begin this July in New Mexico.
Sweetwater is set in 1886 and follows "a young widow (Jones) [who] risks all to avenge her husband’s murder at the hands of a brutal sheep rancher. Harris plays the town sheriff who helps Jones avenge her husband’s death."
Harris has worked with the Millers before on Touching Home, where he played a role based on their real life father. This sounds like a role that is perfect for Harris, and I am interested in seeing the beauty of New Mexico captured on screen.
Are you looking forward to seeing Sweetwater?

Tonight, he plays a different kind of hero on Gmc’s A Mile in His Shoes, an intimate drama about a minor league baseball manager who recruits and mentors a young man named Mickey Tussler (Luke Schroder), who has Asperger’s Syndrome—and a killer fastball. It’s the kind of...
