First of all, original Cantonese must be selected. The Mandarin version did a lot of bad things to cater to the film bureau's censors.

As bad as Hong Kong is portrayed in movies, it has a free press and an independent judiciary. What does China have? What else is there but the rule of the devil?

The reason I watched it is because of Kenneth Tsang who recently passed away was in it.. paying my last respect to him the legend

Sammo Hung cameo appearance was great too other than that it is really a forgettable movie to begin with.

Best HK gangster film i've seen in years! Acting is top top notch, direction is effective. Iqiyi did a great job bring back the golden years of HK cinema experience. Highly recommended!
