New Pillow Talk Guest House Format On 90 Day Fiancé Explained
Image
Pillow Talk is one of the most talked about 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs, and even more so now with a new format called Guest House, featuring cast members Debbie Aguero and Kenneth Niedermeier. Pillow Talk is a segment where previous cast members, usually couples, but sometimes cast members with their siblings or other family members, discuss new 90 Day Fiancé episodes after they've aired. This time around, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 6 has returned with eight different couples.

On Pillow Talk, four pairs sit in the comfort of their bedrooms or living rooms and watch the new season, as they get to know the new couples better at the same time as the audience. They are judgmental, don’t hold back from sharing their opinions on the relationships, and also reminisce about their own storylines on 90 Day Fiancé back in the day. However, Pillow Talk's Guest House segment adds a...

Image
Are we finally going to get the sequel promised 28 years ago in the end credits sequence of the classic Pauly Shore comedy Encino Man? Pauly sure hopes so. Over the past week, the iconic comedian and former MTV host has been campaigning on social media for Disney+ to finally pull the trigger and make Encino Man 2. According to Pauly Shore, his former cast mates Sean Astin and Brendan Fraser, whom he has remained tight friends with ever since shooting the original, are both ready and willing to return.

Encino Man arrived in 1992, and stands as an important comedy in many ways. It was the first movie to introduce Pauly Shore portraying his Weasel character, catapulting him to instant stardom. Though he was a breakout veejay on MTV and had already appeared in the long-lost cult classic Phantom of the Mall, along with attention grabbing appearances in hugely popular TV series Married.

Priscilla Presley in Y a-t-il un flic pour sauver la reine ? (1988)
Exclusive: Go Inside the Guest House at Graceland With Priscilla Presley
Priscilla Presley in Y a-t-il un flic pour sauver la reine ? (1988)
Et has been a frequent guest at Graceland and now Priscilla Presley is showing us the Guest House , a part of the beloved tourist attraction that lets visitors experience how Elvis would live today.

The Guest House at Graceland is a hotel adjacent to the King's mansion, which Priscilla helped design.

"This is a grand staircase, modeled after the staircase in the front room of Graceland," Priscilla says, giving a tour of the hotel. "This chandelier is a large version of the one that's hanging there now."

While the rooms inside the original mansion reflect Elvis' '70s style, The Guesthouse showcases a more updated version.

"We have five restaurants," Priscilla says. "We have kind of a man cave in the bar and grill, which has a huge pool table that Elvis loved to play. We have a 464-seat theatre for live performances, movies and large events."

The Guest House is the most significant enhancement to Graceland...

Spooky and magical kids' TV dramas of the 1980s: 1985-89
Alex Westthorp Sep 19, 2016

We revisit Tom's Midnight Garden, Moondial, The Chronicles Of Narnia and a few lesser-known UK children's TV series...

Read our look-back at UK kids' fantasy dramas 1980 - 1984 here.

By 1985 British TV's children's drama had really hit its stride, achieving "a balanced diet of programmes" as Edward Barnes, the head of the BBC children's department observed. The late 80s, arguably, saw a new golden age for spooky and magical kids drama. Excellent production values, improved significantly by well-honed special effects work using Quantel, Paintbox and Harry, and moreover some interesting casting - often of very talented newcomers - produced some of the most memorable dramas of the era.

The second half of the decade saw the BBC riding high on the back of the success of their state-of-the-art adaptation of John Masefield's Box Of Delights. Meanwhile, anthology series Dramarama was going from strength to strength on ITV.

Chris Martin Confesses Post-Breakup Battle with Depression
These days he’s doing quite well with another successful Coldplay album and a sold-out tour, but Chris Martin spent a year struggling with depression following his 2014 split with Gwyneth Paltrow.

The “Hymn for the Weekend” crooner told the Sunday Times, "I still wake up down a lot of days. But now I feel like I've been given the tools to turn it around. You can come at it very aggressively and blame and blame. Or you can put yourself in the garage, so to speak. Take yourself apart and clean off the bits. Reassemble."

Martin says reading Viktor Frankl’s “Man’s Search for Meaning” and Persian poet Rumi’s “The Guest House” helped him gain perspective. "That one Rumi poem changes everything. It says that even when you're unhappy, it's good for you. It took me a year to get it. A year of depression and all that.

Chris Martin Talks Life After Gwyneth Paltrow: "I Feel Happy to Be Alive"
Chris Martin at an event for MTV EMA Belfast 2011 (2011)
Chris Martin is feeling happier than ever these days, and he's finally not afraid to show it. The notoriously private Coldplay singer sat down with Australian radio station 2DayFM on Monday and opened up about his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow. Chris, who announced his split in a March 2014 post on the actress's website, Goop, said, "A few years ago I was in a low place in my life and was feeling kind of down and confused. Some friends gave me a book called Man's Search For Meaning, and a poem called "The Guest House" by an Afghanistani poet and teacher, and those two things started me off on this whole journey that's ended up a few years later now where I just feel so happy to be alive. That may sound a little simple but I suddenly feel very grateful for all these things in my life, I just feel...

Alfonso Ribeiro -- My New Pad Is Fit For a Prince
Alfonso Ribeiro danced his way to a sprawling new home, and even though it's not in Bel-Air ... it's still pretty sick. The "Dancing with the Stars" champ and "Unwrapped 2.0" host plunked down $2 million for the killer solar-powered pad in Granada Hills, about an hour north of the neighborhood that made him famous.  The home is huge ... 7,500 square feet with 8 bedrooms and 7 baths, so definitely Fresh Prince-ish. The guest house alone is 1,500 square feet...

Reunion, Bert Havird’s shock-a-minute psychological horror-thriller, is excited to announce that it has completed casting!

Helmed by Shawn Chou, the feature, which plays on themes of love, loss, abandonment and revenge, will wrap in mid-April and plans are afoot to have a rough cut ready to wow distributors by mid-May. Shooting in Topanga, Malibu and Anaheim, Reunion already boasts the talents of Jack Turner, Sarah Schreiber, Reign Morton, Cara Santana and Maria Olsen, but this week is all about the film’s new stars!

Not one, but two amazing young actors have been cast to play the younger versions of Jack Turner’s Brad – our troubled leading man – and these boys, of whom we will, no doubt, be seeing a Lot in future, are Lucas Barker and William Leon.

8-year-old Barker’s intensity packs a simply phenomenal punch, and he is best known for his appearances in the chilling...

"The Guest House" is a sexy but flawed story of lesbian love
Tags: Guest HousemoviesMovie ReviewsIMDb

The Guest House might as well be subtitled “Lesbian Air BnB Fantasy Fun Time." A pleasantly youthful romp with two appealing leads and a script that isn’t quite up to task, it certainly borrows from ye old lesbian film cliché bank.

The film opens on goth-lite chick Rachel’s (Ruth Reynolds) awful high school boyfriend breaking up with her, with the usual lame excuse about wanting to go off and have the “full college experience." Rachel punches him in response, the only really prudent course of action. This is the type of movie Guest House is – fueled by id, with a touch of fantasy wish fulfillment and a whole lot of cliché-baiting.

Soon after, we’re treating to a little exposition between dear old dad and Rachel – she’s a smart, sassy, rebellious young lady, ready to run off to college and a new life – and she can’t wait.
