Anime villains often rely on their intelligence and manipulative personalities rather than brute power to be major threats. These villains understand what makes other people tick, manipulating them to act in their favor. They utilize tactics such as creating cult-like followings, employing illusions, and exploiting insecurities to achieve their goals.
Some of anime's most manipulative villains don't need power to be major threats. Many of them get by on their smarts and their ruthless personalities. Whether working in the background or deceiving everyone right under the heroes’ noses, they are running the show and influencing everyone to act in their favor.
The best of these characters make viewers understand very clearly why they have gotten their way for so long: sometimes longer than the heroes have been alive! They are not only smart, but charismatic and convincing, understanding exactly what makes other people tick. Often, they are older than the...

Keke Palmer has graced us with her latest project: a new album and an accompanying 41-minute film. The star released the project, called "Big Boss," on May 12, and it tells the story of Palmer's early years in a male-dominated music industry.
"It's a huge thing for me in more ways than one, directing and writing for the first time as well as actually being able to tell my story," she told HuffPost on the day of the project's release, adding that she "didn't budge on any aspect of putting this together. I really was fully sound and clear in my mind and what I wanted for this, and I followed through in a way that I never did before. I think it's easy to just get sidetracked and just give up. And this time, I didn't do that."

With the release of the Paldea Evolved expansion, there will be new Pokémon ex cards added to the Pokémon Tcg, including the final evolutions of Paldea’s starter trio. Most of Paldea Evolved’s full Western appearance has not been officially revealed, although several have leaked on social media, and Paldea Evolved is already known to be collecting cards from several smaller Japanese sets. In addition to the Frasier sequel, Grammnet Nh Productions is collaborating with CBS Studios on The Game dramedy revival for Paramount+.

The newest trailer for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, the long-awaited new entry to FromSoftware's sci-fi mecha video game franchise, revealed both a concrete release date and concrete footage of the gameplay. The core gameplay for Armored Core 6 refines what was codified in previous Armored Core titles - a hard-to-kill "Raven" mercenary customizes their giant "AC" mech with different weapons and parts, then wage war on brutal battlefields. However, the spectacular boss fights and level designs shown in the trailers seems to draw inspiration from Dark Souls, Sekiro, and other more recent FromSoftware titles.
The stories of FromSoftware's Armored Core games are rarely happy ones, revolving around morally neutral mech-piloting mercenaries who fight each other to the death in grungy industrial complexes and polluted wastelands on behalf of mega-corporations or authoritarian states. Dialogue in Armored Core 6 suggests a similarly dark set of affairs, referring to the protagonist with...
