According to his management, Paul Danan, a British actor best known for his role as Sol Patrick in the television show Hollyoaks, passed away at the age of 46.
Independent Creative Management honored Danan, calling him “a beacon of light” known for his “television presence, amazing talent, and constant kindness.”
Danan uploaded a video of himself acting out Shakespeare as he got ready for a “Twelfth Night” audition just days before his death. The video showed the actor excitedly talking about returning to the theater and his love for Shakespeare’s plays.
Reality TV star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace led tributes to her friend, writing on social media: “I’m so heartbroken…. my darling man… I will cherish all our happy memories.” Like Calum Best, other celebs also shared their support on Danan’s last post.
Danan became famous in the late 1990s on the show Hollyoaks and later switched to reality TV.

Ten years ago, Brendan Sheerin started filming a low-budget little reality series for Channel 4, where he guided a hotch-potch gang of British tourists around Europe on a coach. One decade and ten series later, Brendan is back and there are three more series in the pipeline.
The cult daytime reality show is just as popular as ever with its loyal legion of fans, and we caught up with the brilliant Brendan to find out his favourite moments from the first ten series.

Tonight five stars, including Towie's Gemma Collins and Hollyoaks favourite Gemma Merna, will cast aside their dressing gowns, prance over to the diving board in their skimpy swimsuits and attempt to pull out something better than a belly flop, all in a bid to impress mentor Tom Daley and us viewers.
Join Digital Spy from 7.20pm as hosts Gabby Logan and Vernon Kay present a shamelessly cheesy 90 minutes of gawking at celebrities' bodies before forcing them to fall from a great height. Go on, don't act like you won't be giving it a whirl...

Fancy watching some poor punter getting a back, sack and crack from Rustie Lee? Want a waxing from Helen Flanagan? Is Arg from Towie delivering pedicures what you've been waiting for all these years? Well, wait no more people. Celebrity Super Spa has arrived.
I've already had the joy of watching episode one of Super Spa. I've seen the awkward and cringeworthy hosts. I've seen Helen Flanagan prancing around without any trousers on. I've seen Rustie Lee cackling. 867 times.
And I'll probably watch it all over again tonight (September 13) when it airs on Channel 5. Firstly, because I'm a glutton for terrible television. Secondly, because I'm fairly convinced it may be the most desperate celebrity reality show ever concieved. Even by Channel 5's late night standards, this is awful. It makes The Bachelor look like The Sopranos.
So where does the show fit in the history of degrading and embarrassing celebrity reality shows?...

Bianca Gascoigne performs 'I'm Going Down' by Mary J Blige in tonight's (September 15) episode of The X Factor. The stepdaughter of former England footballer Paul Gascoigne has previously modelled for magazines including FHM and Maxim, appeared on Celebrity Coach Trip in 2010, and won the second series of ITV's Love Island alongside Calum Best in 2006. "Since I was young I've grown up in the public eye because of my dad, Paul Gascoigne, who's like a legend at football," Bianca explains to the judges. Talking about her early experiences of fame, she says: "I do look back and just wish I was a bit more sensible. I hate the fact that people see me as this party girl because I have got so much more to me than that." "I've always been a singer," she adds. "This is something that (more)...

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean were nowhere to be seen last night as former Wag Lizzie Cundy took to the ice alongside Dancing On Ice champ Hayley Tamaddon. The Celebrity Coach Trip star was among the guests at the official launch of the Natural History Museum's winter ice rink, which opens to the public today. Cundy was guided around the ice by 2010 series winner Tamaddon, who showed off her impressive control. Danny Young has admitted that taking on a role in new touring production Wildboyz is "unbelievably daunting". The former Coronation Street actor joins Alex Reid, Dale Howard and Marcus Patrick in the show, which has been described as 'Benidorm meets The Full Monty'. With the foursome playing exaggerated versions of themselves, Young told Digital Spy that the production will mock the current celebrity culture. "You get so many people now who go on Celebrity Coach Trip and they're suddenly a celebrity, and you think, 'f**king hell'. I've been working since I was 14. And then you've got these people coming out of certain shows taking jobs," he said. "I like that it's taking the p*ss out of yourselves. You can't take the play too serious. If you take it (more)...
